We are talking about Kmatts thought process if he is town.
He believes Damerion is real. That means there is a cop in the game (in his world). That also means there is very likely a godfather to counter the cop. That means it is not scummy for him to not trust the green checks.

that's pretty wrong actually. That happened, but more often than not late game I'm tunneling a scum. Sometimes he gets lynched sometimes I get lynched. My play gets better the farther we advance in the game .
