I'm not a European but this seems like a pretty decent reason to elect kita.

Also did the citizens of the US realize they were only electing GB for one term (day)? I was under the impression it was for the entire game although it might have been spelled out and I missed it.

kita's list is good because it aligns with the reads I do have enough that it seems alright to use the reads I don't have. for spammy players / players I don't care about I defer to that list mostly, except I forgot why I started trusting kita. maybe because his reads are good.

So do we know who won the tank/phone auctions. If no one claims winning, I'd be intersted to see what other people bid, because I'm fairly certain I can outbid anyone on this fish and use it as town sees fit once we know what it does. I just don't want to overbid by a ridiculous amount if it's avoidable.

I'd also be fine with a nuke on GB unless he has a reasonable explanation

I'm back. Work has been a beast. Actually it's been pretty terrible but I digress.

Anyhow first things first, I'm claiming the shot on Grackaroni. I had one bullet only shoot people who held/were holding bananas (kills wouldn't register if I just shot anyone and they didn't have a banana) and there was zero to negative chance in hell I was shooting either of Kita or Dandel Ion.

Kita was/is a strong townread of mine. From SOTW I learnt Dandel plays a bit different so I tried to evalulate him in context and felt he was town.

Grack I really felt several of his reads, particularly pushing Kita over the bananas - a mechanic that could involve either alignment - was forced. Additionally his play from Onegu 2 wasn't as townie so I had gotten the impression he was feigning interest in the game, there was a lot of posting just to post. I read and re-read his filter before making the decision to shoot him.

TLDR: He felt like a sleeper mafia to me.

If I could have shot the people I'd really have wanted to I sure would have, had no banana claimers appeared on any part of my shit list prior to the end of day I would have held the shot. Furthermore, he wasn't being universally scumread so I figured also the chances of a scum Grack being protected by his team would have been slim.

An alternative plan I was thinking was trying to bait Kita or Dandel into giving the banana to a stronger scum read of mine before end of day so I could shoot them. I thought of this for awhile but I couldn't think of a convincing way to have them give it to a scum read of mine and I also didn't want to telegraph my intentions or potential implications to mafia either. (I "say" bait because they had the impressions that bananas were beneficial. If I argued with them I think I would have drawn attention to myself IDK.)

So that's that.

Second I also think prplhz is some sort of mafia PGO. Vivax put into play his roleblocking Spock action:

So we need to find a way to take prplhz down or another top scum read ASAP through some lynch mechanic I feel if people feel this is what we are truly dealing with. Those of you not already scumreading him, look at his filter, there's a lot of pointless questions and garbage that goes nowhere.

As for the mechanics of a PGO with a nuke, it sounds wonky, maybe mafia day vigged Vivax, he was near universally town read. But the timing of those quotes - and his filter - made me wonder this possibility as well.

Not fully caught up yet but there we go.

I have a funny feeling about Lunaticman after his last list post but I can't articulate it terribly well at the moment.
Something between blending in, IDK. Even the mechanics breakdowns (not that I considered it super towny) is falling off, but gah.

My biggest reservation about him is lack of original thought for the scumreads, that's probably the best way I can put it right now.
