High Five Bro! Although I did stop playing her after the passive nerf plus other mids were stronger than her in solo queue  I hate facing Annie as her :| | ||

On another note, I am so fucking hyped for Worlds, just two days. And as much as she loathes League, for my anniversary present Dani did really well with tickets to Worlds, really fortunate this year they went EU  Now if I can only turn around and forever corrupt her....god. | ||

I wish it were that straightforward although I'm sure you've heard of a saying now...."don't bite the hand that feeds you." seriously she spent a load of money on both sets of tickets and the trip for the finals so I don't think she'd take too well to me tying her up. although if that's worked for you in the past, more power to you but I know her well enough, I will just have to cross fingers and hope her being surrounded by the diehards at Worlds will get her to change. maybe | ||

Just keep in mind that the majority of people who try to use meta have no idea what they're doing and you have just as good a guess as to what something means as someone who claims to know better and you'll do fine. | ||

More on topic and in line with what Vivax posted, I know we had a decent crew of newbies the last 2-4 newbie games, especially the ones I remember from NSM12 - Grokken, silentwarrior, WonnaPlay, etc. (No I haven't forgotten n00bking either, but he obviously raged last game.) I know disformation is gone for another week as he's wrapping up his thesis for grad school. But generally I know we haven't done too well keeping newbies around. Can't really put my finger on why though. I honestly don't think the newbie games are too spammy - might be a good idea for someone to grab ahold of Kita's survey that he used to do for newbies and throw it the way of first timers around here? Just a random thought. (If I'm derailing the thread, I guess I'll start a new thread, IDK, I'm just throwing thoughts around honestly.) | ||

If you are a new player you really shouldn't meta unless you have played 10-odd games with people anyhow and you still have to be careful of easily broken metas (i.e. inactivity as a certain alignment). The easiest way to safeguard is to use multiple layers of criteria for town or scumreading people and see if it adds up. Outside meta, is there town/mafia motivations for XYZ action(s)? And so forth. | ||
