Cheating: Cheating includes (but is not limited to) 1. Posting after death. You may have one polite goodbye post, but it may not contain any potentially game-changing information. 2. Ruining the game by doing something like hand out your mafia's member list to the town. 3. Logging on to someone else's account to get their role or looking over someone's shoulder to get their role. 4. Comparing role PM times to determine roles. 5. Posting screenshots of your inbox. 6. Posting or sharing any PM you receive from a host. 7. Getting yourself modkilled to help your team. Your non-majority-decided death may not be used as a bargaining chip. 8. Signing up more than once using smurf accounts. 9. Betting items outside of the game in exchange for in-game benefits. 10. Sharing accounts with other players unless cleared by the host in advance. Otherwise, only you may post on your account. 11. Breadcrumbing the specific phrasing of your role PM. Do not compare the phrasing in your role PM to prove your alignment. You can claim the abilities you have, but you can't use the specific phrasing of your role PM. Palmar specific rules
Game Information Voting:
PMs: There are no restrictions on private communications. Anything goes. However of course anything that would be cheating in the thread is also cheating in pms. (such as a screenshot of your inbox, etc). Smurfs: Smurfs and hydras are not allowed. Modkills: Bitch please Time Cycle: Day lasts 48 hours. The deadline is 23:00 GMT (+00:00). Nights last 24 hours. Game Setup and Information This setup is an open setup. 9 town against 3 mafia. 7 vanilla townies 1 town cop 1 town doctor 1 mafia roleblocker 1 mafia rolecop 1 mafia godfather As usual in games by me, there are no notifications of roleblocks, successful saves, visits or anything other that isn't necessary to the flow of the game. The role PM will only contain the name of the role you will be playing. The subject will be "Office Role" and the body will be the name of the role in question. Comparing role PMs is very much against the rules. Roles Sales Representative All you have is the power to persuade people to do as you want. You do not have any expert knowledge so it's up to your guts, your insight and your personality to help keep this company afloat. Accountant You have advanced insights into the company's finances. While you're officially there to just crunch numbers, your position actually helps you gauge the situation of both the company as whole as well as individual employees quite accurately. It doesn't take a genius to figure out who is truly working to keep the ship straight, and who is mostly thinking about their own good. You can take a look at one person's expenses and accounts every night. This will reveal their alignment. Branch Manager You love your employees and are willing to do whatever it takes to help them when they run into trouble. This includes shifting blame to yourself, or to HR, if needed. You consider keeping up morale and having fun at work your number one priority, generally seeing yourself more as a comedian, friend and supporter of your employees than a hard-nosed boss. Every night you can protect one employee from corporate wrath. They can not be killed during the night. HR Representative While your job description implies that you are there to help the office run more smoothly, in reality your main job seems to be wasting everyone's time with nonsense such as sensitivity training. You are the destroyer of fun around the office, and if any of the employees are actually enjoying work, it's your job to sweep in and lecture them for a while about racial diversity and discrimination or something equally boring. You can send one player in the game to sensitivity training for the night. This will roleblock them. IT guy No one knows you, and you make no attempt to become integrated with the office environment. However you read people's emails and because you don't care about people you don't know, you immediately flag it if you find something not work related. Also you installed a web filter so now there's no social media, porn or TMZ at work. That fucking sucks. Also you blocked TL Mafia for good measure. What a dick. You can read a person's emails during the night. This will discover their role. COO You are not part of the office. You generally only drop by to deliver good news (because if there's bad news to be delivered, you leave it to the Branch Manager to do that). This may make people think you're actually not all too bad, but in reality you don't care about your employees at all, your only goal is to make the company as much money as possible, at the cost of morale, job security and benefits. Because you pick and choose when you interact with employees, they might think you aren't all bad. You return green to alignment checks. | ||
