End Game The_Templar the Twitterati has conceded! Town Victory! Role PMs Scumteam: Chairman Ray - Tumbler Master Tumblr Master - each night you may "troll" someone. Here are your trolling options. each troll is only useable once per game "extreme troll" - this person's alignment is flipped for any checks that happen "hilarious troll" - this person is roleblocked "misdirection troll" - if this person has a night action, it's moved to a target of your choice. They're informed who their new target is and can do nothing about it. The_Templar - Twitterati Twitterati - your power as a memeber of the twitterati is to set up private out-of-thread communcation QTs with people. You are a masoner who can mason a target during the first 24 hours of each day-- the masonry lasts until the end of the night. If you want, you can also mason 2 targets with each other instead of you with someone. So if you mason someone at the start of D1 the QT lasts until the end of N1 Townteam: Kushm4sta - I Accidentally a Twitter I accidentally a twitter - you accidentally a twitter. You have no powers, but can vote and speak. You win with the town. Artanis[Xp] - Trendsetter Trendsetter - each day during the first 24 hours, select a hashtag to be "trending" in a pm to the host. An announcement will be made and each player may make 2 posts with this hashtag without counting towards their post limit until the end of the 72 hour day+night posting period. You win with the town. The_Bard - Kickstarter Kickstarter - Each night you can activate one of your kickstarter projects. You have no idea what these do, or if they do anything at all. "Indie Game" - Select a target. You make an Indie Game about the target. "Super Worthless Business" - I'm sure you need $5,000 to start your home crocheting business. Pick a number between 1 and 3 when using this power. "Viral but Useless Task" - I hope you like potato salad! You win with the town. Palmar - Literally A Bird Literally a bird - you are literally a bird. caw caw caw. caw caw caw. Once each day you can send me a pm. In the pm, please say "caw caw caw" and the name of one player. If you send me the name of one player, you will be masoned with that player until the end of the night. So if you mason someone during D1, the masonry lasts until the end of N1. You win with the town. Epishade - 9/11 Truther 9/11 Truther - nobody listens to you, but the sheeple are just blind. You KNOW 9/11 was an inside job. Each night, if during the previous day you made at least 3 tweets about how 9/11 was an inside job, chemtrails are real, and/or obama isn't an american citizen, you can investigate one player to see if they were involved in the conspiracy. You're an awful investigator so you have no idea if they're actually involved, but you'll notice if anyone has visited them in the past 72 hours, and who they are. You win with the town. Kurumi - Small Child Small Child - you shouldn't be on the internet, you're a small child. However, your innocence protects you from certain flames at night. Although you're not immune to scum kp, you're immune to any scum powers outside of the scum kp. Due to your innocence, however, you wander around a bit, and can be seen visiting places you shouldn't. You win with the town. raynpelikoneet - Arab Spring Protest Arab Spring Protest - Twitter is a vital tool that you use to organize your protests of the totalitarian regime. Each night, you can pick a hashtag and 2 phrases to be spoken that would fit in a tweet with the hashtag. At the start of the next day, the hashtag and both phrases will be tweeted in the day post. You win with the town. Action Summary D1: Artanis[Xp] Trends #thingsscumsay. Chairman Ray is lynched. N1: Epishade watches Palmar. The_Bard uses Indie Game on Kurumi. Raynpelikoneet submits a day post tweet "#actionreport May it be informed that kushm4sta and Epishade are different alignment." The_Templar kills The_Bard. Kurumi randomly visits The_Bard. The_Bard dies. He got a rolecop off on Kurumi but being dead, recieves nothing. Epishade learns that nobody visited Palmar during D1 or N1. Rayn's tweet goes through. D2: Palmar caw caw caws Artanis[Xp]. Kushm4sta is lynched. N2: Epishade watches Kurumi. The_Templar shoots Artanis[Xp]. Rayn leaves a cryptic tweet for the daypost. Kurumi wanders to Palmar. However, not taking advantage of his ability to mason other people with each other and listening in was imo a crucial error. CCing mason to Palmar's mason made things difficult as well, though the game was still winnable. Losing the Tumblr Master meant he was vulnerable to The_Bard's check. Shooting him was a good move. I think town got a bit lucky and unlucky with gambits. The rayn tweet thing somehow confirmed rayn and epi, and Palmar is not easily lynchable. Town used their roles effectively, and also read their role PMs, which I heard was good. This was a heavily themed and roled game, and I was worried about the counterbalance between "town can't talk much, and so can't hunt scum easily" and "town has PRs that make up for that". Let me know what you guys think of the balance. Moderation Warning to Kush for attempted cheating. He tried to get himself modkilled instead of lynched. Cheating: "7. Getting yourself modkilled to help your team. Your non-majority-decided death may not be used as a bargaining chip." During D2, Kush deliberately made many posts beyond the clearly stated posting restriction, and deliberately requested to be modkilled, when there was a percieved parity check between him an Epi and he was up for the lynch. He repeatedly claimed not to have read his role PM during D1, which is acceptable to claim. However, after he was lynched for it, he posted the following: http://i.imgur.com/6of12Zd.png . This is a screenshot of his inbox, of the Role PM he received from me, unread. This falls under rules 5 and 6 in cheating from my OP: "5. Posting screenshots of your inbox, or really any screenshots of things from the game. 6. Posting or sharing any PM you receive from a host." as well as rule 1: "1. Posting after death. You may have one polite goodbye post, but it may not contain any potentially game-changing information." By revealing he had not read his Role PM via screenshot (which is cheating anyways) after he was dead, Chairman Ray demonstrated to the town that none of what he said about people was motivated by him knowing who his scumbuddy was, etc etc. And it's a freaking screenshot of his unread role PM! It was pretty damn game-changing and is basically as clear-cut as it gets. And he was dead! I cannot possibly imagine an argument that would convince me that Chairman Ray should not get a serious ban for this. | ||

I am a fan of the idea to have a lot of blue and red roles, without making the blue roles too strong. With such limited posts, role interactions are a great way to start discussion that would normally be quite hard to do with these restrictions. Mason is really, really good in this setup btw. I basically convinced rayn and art I was town just by explaining shit to them in the QT. | ||
