like to point out last game we played, i got harped on that and it turned out to be a useless baseless thing to try and lynch me for. gotta step up your game, i thought you "knew how i played" seems like your unique points are really not that great.... | ||

It's not just about getting to decide the D1 lynch, it's about making the right choice for town. Based on PMs and what I've seen from BC in the thread so far, I think he's got town's best interest at heart and he'll lynch wisely. I reserve the right to change my vote if he starts seeming scummy, but I think he's the best choice for mayor right now. It has nothing to do with vet bias. I concede that my personal experience playing with him factors in, but that's meta, not vet bias. | ||

Like, by definition a vet will have different biases than a rookie because a vet has played more games, right? Or maybe a vet knows people better or something. If you can put together a reason why these biases might be bad (for example, a vet might arbitrarily be pro lynching BH since BH is way to sexy) or at least a list of what these biases ARE, then we can have a conversation. otherwise, you're just weighing in without saying anything, a classic active lurker move. also BH how likely would you be to lynch a vet day 1? how likely would any vet be to lynch a vet day 1 as a mayor? even moving off that, everyone who plays this game has bias. Players they like, players they don't care for and would lynch scum or town because they hate their play. | ||

Vet bias is silly. If someone is experienced, you trust that they are capable of doing what is required you support them. If a rookie is making a shite ton more sense than the vet and they get the support thats where it lands. But at the end of the day it comes down to the posts. Trying to undermine someones support on a faulty basis is just silly. | ||

I suspect there are certain vets (VE, Marv, etc) who basically never get lynched D1 because when they are town they are often shot. I'd certainly be hesitant to lynch VE, or even to consider pushing him, even if I thought he was scum, during D1. For example, this game I don't have a townread on VE, which is evidence to me that he's scum (scum VE rarely strikes me as scummy). you wont' see mentioning this or pushing it in thread though, for a number of reasons. mostly ve isn't lynchable today, and I could be wrong and he'll be shot tonight. But also, my read on VE is a gutread. something just seems off to him. I can't just point at something and say "this is where VE is being scum" because if I could, I would just do that. I may have to sit and think a bit leading up to D2 on whether or not he really is scum, and as importantly, whether or not actually pushing him would do anything but get me lynched. | ||

I am now agreeing with VE. I think "Wile" has lost interest in the game entirely... What is not a lot of reading to is is a ton to him apparently... And I don't think anyone has bothered to message him. Doesn't seem like it. May need plynch. Sorry. | ||
