SAO had potential and it was wasted. Still enjoyable for a couple hours. If you enjoy it much further than the first world, there is something wrong with you, which isn't always bad. I watched it till some random tentacles appeared far into the second world and tried to rape the female main character. There were some indicators I should stop watching but that really did it.
I watch anime (aka drawn stuff) because you can sketch an environment that is impossible to create unless you got an insane budget for a probably a limited audience.
There are like 5 animes that fill that requirement. Death Note is still the best. Incredible idea + execution. Lelouch was good. Fullmetal Alchemist was good. Accel world was great if they just kept on track, but for some reason it became something different and that was crap. The anime with the vampire was pretty good, forgot the name, pretty insane stuff, something with a group of great assassins and nazis bombing brittain. Ergo Proxy was acceptable. Captain Bebop was watchable but is just weaker than Firefly tbh. RIP Firefly. Would have been awesome.
btw if Captain Bebop is anime, I guess Rick and Morty is anime? And holy fuck Rick and Morty is awesome.

That being said, I did watch Death Note, and it is very good, especially the first part of it.

After 3 weeks of repair, my motherboard is coming back to me within the next few days.
In the meantime I've been playing a SC2 arcade called "The thing" at a friends place.
It's a bit like mafia in that you are either survivor or the thing and the thing can convert survivors and disguise himself as one, so it's like a cultist game of mafia with zombies and gadgets.
Would be cool to play with some folks here when I revive my computer and hopefully that motherboard problem didn't fry any other components (I would rage hard).

Just a shoutout again to all the awesome Dota players on TL.
I've been playing a lot with Fidei and some with Rels lately. Seems like it comes up a bit in convos or in mafia games, would love to play some dota with some more of you TLers. Don't care about mmr, we can go unranked if we're too far apart.
If you're NA, I get around 90-100 to us east, so playing there not a problem, I still see loads of you on the weekends. So no excuses then <3

If you're using mirc I believe there is a pop up that offers the paid version, but if you wait a few seconds and close it out, it is still free to use. Alternatively you can probably find a free client through google.
