Suchdoge: His massive entry post that said the same thing about the mayoral election that I already did earlier in thread, and then promoted marv and mig as good candidates for election despite the fact that marv (at the time) was barely playing this game (although I can't be certain about PMs) and I'm assuming Mig hasn't shown up yet (and from what I saw in PYP I'm not particularly impressed with his play). The rest of his filter (and he HAS one, unlike others) was shitting on the main and strongest mayoral prospect and talking about how he can't PM. I would be curious to know what interactions people have had with him in PM/IRC-land because I have spoken to people with conflicting reads here. It is my belief that such an entry into the thread, not offering anything particularly useful other than the offering up of mayoral candidates that can widely be accepted as 'good players' if they decide to run is nothing more than a safe and neutral play under the guise of effort, a perfect scum opener. The rest of his filter does not lead me to believe he has town's best interests in mind (despite some people currently agreeing with DrH not being the best mayoral prospect, including DrH himself) as he promoted negativity without offering something positive and realistic in return. Also now that marv HAS announced his potential candidacy I would like to see how he will react. | ||

I do agree with your sentiment, and we DO tend to work very well together marv, but you also know how naturally untrusting I am, and without the rest of the thread to tell me not to be paranoid about you (if you ARE in fact townin PM-land, I'm not sure how useful it would be---in my mind it may simply open myself up to be manipulated even more. That being said I would love to discuss reads with you if you'll send me a PM, just keep my current attitude and reservations in mind. For similar reasons to the above as well, I would not currently be comfortable voting you for mayor. | ||

I think it's unlikely they're BOTH scum since if they were both scum only one of them would go fishing (why risk exposing both of them)?-- the most likely situation is exactly one of them is scum. Why does BlazingHand have any kind of scumread on rayn or marvellosity, both of whom are pretty strong townreads for me, why is he more concerned with talking to me about how I must be town than talking about his actual reads on Marv/Rayn and why isn't he stating this in the thread. He began the game with an empty policy lynch on Kush, then supported me, now he has actual scumreads he isn't pursuing and went along with the idea that I would kill not only two players who are doing a good job of establishing themselves as town but two of the most active players in the game? Lynch BH today. | ||

Upon election of a mayor, the mayor will choose two bodyguards. The bodyguards will know that they are a bodyguard, but no one else (besides the mayor) will know who the bodyguards are. The bodyguard ability is considered a night protect and may be roleblocked (both bodyguards must be disable for a non-mason mayor to be killable). As stated in OP, masons can not be protected by anything, including the bodyguard ability. EDIT: A mafia bodyguard will protect the mayor (unless roleblocked) | ||
