I see that the scum wincon is not the standard "outnumber town" one. Does this mean that the game may eventually involve vote-races in 2-2 situations for example? Or is 2-2 considered "nothing can prevent all coven members dying" and scum win?

This is a Majority Lynch game, so in 2-2 you need 3 for a majority. Town will no-lynch (unless scum is colossally stupid) and then scum will shoot a townie and lynch a townie the next day. Since there's no way for town to avoid this outcome, A day that starts 2-2 is a scum victory.

Instant majority isn't really possible with Witchcraft because there's no way to ensure town has gotten all the witchcraft votes in. Some kind of Extended Instant Majority where if no majority is reached after 48 hours it's Instant Majority instead of a no-lynch is possible but I don't feel like running that-- Instant Majority is a lot of effort.
