1) scum was willing to be active whereas town was not 2) town had bad reads In a mafia game, normally, even if town derps and mislynches a few times, the cop can still get a couple checks and sometimes help get a victory. The fewer townies are alive, the more likely it is a check will hit scum (or a vigi shot will hit scum, or a save or RB will go the right away)... so assuming the blue roles survive, most blue-roles are anti-swing. The Cop has a harder time checking the scum when there are 1 scum and 9 town. In Witchcraft, the mechanics are pro-swing. If scum is playing well, scum gets elected to be witches; if scum is playing poorly, they don't get elected to be witches. Mislynches deplete the number of blue roles more quickly. Although I made this set-up a bit less pro-town (scum had better RB, town couldn't game the voting system as easily) that isn't why town lost; town just got outplayed. | ||
