I found several people to be under the level of play but I found probably 6-8 that were great just in my game. Though many were wrong because scum team played well. Also we forced them into situations where we killed the reasonable people and left the people who were going full rayn tunneled XD. | ||

But apparently it lead to two good games already which both ended up won by scum so I suppose it's balanced for these games. | ||

There are certainly good players aswell, but i think people need to know what they are signing up for because i don't think the name of the game represents the product. + Show Spoiler + I just find the whole "format" and how it is "sold" hilarious. People making mistakes and wrong decisions - shooting townies as vigilante or whatever - is one thing, but it's another thing that for example the "jury" who decides who are the best players - or played the best - in a certain game makes a decision that a vigilante who shot three townies (amongst other things) is the best town player and qualified to advance further. That simply cannot be true except for under certain circumstances, which i know was not the case in that specific case since i followed that game. I don't even remember who won that game, but if town won it was definitely not the vigilante's good play that made it happen, if mafia won, he was probably scum MVP in the game lol.. This is not to mock anyone's play, it's to show how the decision making process on who was "good" or not is either completely biased or people making the decision are not actually qualified to make one -- at least if you call the game "Mafia Championship game".  Same goes with inactivity in some games. "Best of the best" people playing mafia and half of the players never catch up on the thread and/or people getting modkilled/replaced because of whatever (non-personal) reasons. Some people copy-pasting the playerlist and putting "town", "null" or "scum" after each name repeatedly changing those "reads", never explaining why. If that's not enough, then we have people never lynching them because "wow tone is so townie". If even that is not enough, some people even thought the dude was scum MVP because "he managed to fly under radar so damn well!". So yeah.. That's why i take the trolly / don't care approach. | ||

We have a tendency to solo play scum and try to get town read screw our partners. While we covered and pushed for each other. There was barely any busses. I took part in shenanigans d1 that my partner was going down to anyway. Everyone else totally chainsaw, could be higher town here as well. But idk sometimes really miss the team feeling here. | ||

That being said I didn't follow the game and I don't know how the town did its thing. I completely agree that TL is way too in love with busing. | ||
