out of curiosity, what made you so sure?

His rant on me and the conclusion without explanation and the tone of the whole thing there with me/you. That's totally town!Oats.

So what would have been missing/added for there to be a scum-Oats possibility?

I don't think he would go on with it in the first place. If he would he would be more willing to explain what he thinks and why instead of just calling me bad first, calling me bad after that, and then suddenly say "you are town so stfu". That's something mafia!Oats does not do, he does not go on calling people who "he does not think are scum" bad for "bad logic". I mean, the thing went on too long for Oats to be scum.

I'm worried now you've explained this he may start incorporating this into his mafia play.
Oats is kinda tricksy like that :p

Even if he does that there still is something out there. There are some other traits of his scumplay i know. Those i can't notice on D1, not maybe on D2 either, pretty surely after that.

yeah I can read him that late, it's more early i'm worried about ;;

I absolutely despise this town for lynching me when many of you KNOW that I afk a lot on Day 1 and become more active later in the game, regardless of alignment.
See: Nuclear winter(Town), Persona (Scum), GoT(Town), One of my newbies I can't remember the roman numeral of(Town), and this game(Town)
Your obvious question: Why does FirmTofu consistently play like this? Your Wrong Answer: FirmTofu is an asshole who deliberately wants his alignment to lose every game. The Right Answer: FirmTofu generally dislikes the spam during Day 1 and is naturally less motivated to read the thread. He doesn't like pandering to bullshit accusations and prefers to take his time catching up.
While this may not be the optimal way to play, people who are familiar with my meta, were town this game, and voted me on Day 1 should seriously reevaluate their motivations for voting me.
Why did you vote me when: 1) It was a baseless lurker vote and you know FirmTofu is capable of becoming more active as the game progresses. 2) You know FirmTofu is notorious for AFKing during Day 1 as both alignments. 3) There are plenty of better targets that will yield more information about other people post-lynch.
For my lynch alone, I think this town did not deserve to win this game.

Or you could just try playing properly, that would help

Let's all say nothing on D1. Hell, as we get no info on anything that makes D2 like D1. Therefore, let's not say anything on D2... see the pattern?

Now that I'm done with my rant, I would like to say that yamato played a great lategame as town. I also think Onegu was blatantly obvious as scum for the longest time and I have no idea how he was not lynched sooner.

The question is what you enjoy less: meaningless Day 1's or getting lynched
your call, really

I am talking about my play and my play only. I am not generalizing to suggest that my play is "good play".

It's easy to yell from the obs QT. You are not frustrated because someone refuses to play the game for 5 days straight. Even if you can look past that you can't look past the other guy who couldn't look past that. Then everyone seems so fucking scummy for whatever reasons you miss the fact that someone pretty much claims scum in thread. Even when another dude points it out you are paranoid because he has refused to play the game for 5 days when you were trying to play your fullest to solve the game. Then this same guy calls you repeatedly bad after you have been leading two mafia lynches in a row when he was having a tea party in lurker land. It's a different thing to call the obvious things from obs QT when your ass is not in the line any more in the game.
And btw we would have probably lynched Sylencia on D1 if you had not lurked your way to getting mislynched..

your call, really Definitely meaningless Day 1s. I also don't think my lynch was sufficiently justified.
Let me clarify. I think I played a bad Day 1. I think I was a terrible lynch, regardless of my bad play.

your few posts that you made were pretty laughable.
when you get lynched as town, you can either shout at half the town for lynching you, or realise that you made yourself exceedingly lynchable by how you played
up to you
i always find a good question to ask about playstyle is "if everyone played in a similar style to me, what would happen?" - in this case if the entire town lurked and said shit, then the game would break and nothing would work. Whereas most people will try and produce content, and that's what any town needs to function.
You're basically arguing that you should be a special case because you don't like day 1s.
No.

I also think you played a solid midgame. I'm not blaming you for Onegu not being lynched, if that's what you're getting at. It was town's collective mistake.

No. I know I played badly. That's not what I'm discussing. I'm evaluating town's decision to lynch me independently of my bad play. We aren't even talking about the same thing.

Towns will lynch players like you on d1 for all eternity.
Which is why it's a townie's responsibility to not play badly.
