The reason I phrased it like that is because rayn asked me why I was voting you and not Sylencia because your play was very similar (something I agree with). Of course there are reasons for town to try to control the thread. There's town reasons for just about anything. It's the way you've done it that's raising red flags. Your OMGUS follow up to a vote isn't particularly townish.
As for playing poorly, I might be. In the start of games I often play poorly though I get back up later.
