You are a douchebag. I am really upset after reading this. wtf m8? I tried my best in TL+ as town, first game ever. I tried my best in the Newbie Mini Mafia XLIV and died first night. This is the third game that has finished and I was scum so I had to pretend to be less knowing that I was... Where is all the hate coming from? First off, I'd like to apologize... again. What I said was over the line. I was upset about losing (I really, really, really hate losing). For your early attempt, you played fine. You did what you had to do to not get lynched (and honestly I didn't read anything after I got NKd). Honestly though, like this game will really hurt you because you'll have to not look like dumb/crazy newbie to not get lynched from now on (and if you take into account my experiences, this is exceptionally tough). Plus, if you want to see god awful town play, then you should read LX or PYP4 and my filters will give you about anything you'd want to see. Really, the problem was that we had so many lurkers your "dumb newbie" look made you look more towny than most and you were unlynchable towards the end (in comparison). But don't expect anyone to give you a free pass on this in the future.

Didn't play and haven't read, but I feel the respect for "vet status" comes from those people consistently giving out good reads. Therefore it is quite different if a known star scumhunter (for instance Foolishness or Sandroba) says that he is convinced X is scum, or if someone else says it. There are plenty of veterans who don't have the same "vet status". Coagulation or BillMurray, for instance, have been around since forever, but their reads are not given the same weight.
So vet status isn't earned through longevity, but by performance. And imho, it is lost if players stop performing at the same level. Also, people don't sheep vets because they are vets unless they themselves are really flailing around. They sheep vets because the vet generally plays a game in which he makes himself highly sheepable, by applying pressure correctly and explaining his reads.

That's the most retarded case i have ever heard and Ace does not make retarded cases as town (at least i have not seen them). This has nothing to do with misunderstandings or anything, this is plan out BAD and scummy. Last page of my filter was pretty much talking about this. I hope someone looked back on D2. :/
EDIT: And i didn't buy Austin's explanation to his actions because of my own confirmation bias. They did make sense after i read them again and again as i couldn't believe my eyes when he flipped town. ^^
