You are Canton Everett Delaware III the Obsessive-Compulsive Inventorizer! PTP games are about creativity, and why let that end in the pre-game phase?

During each day phase (including Day 1), you PM the hosts the name of a player to Inventorize. With the night post, they will get the following PM and power:


You have been hit by Inspiration and are tonight's Inventor! Subject to the hosts' balance approval, you can create any Invention which has not been previously used in this game. Your creativity is the only limit! You must also choose a player other than yourself to receive the Invention.

If you choose an Invention which has previously been Invented or is deemed to be substantially similar to a previous Invention, the hosts will tell you that the Invention is too similar to a previous one and you must think of a new Invention.

If you choose a player to receive the Invention who has already received an Invention, there is a (N+1)*20% chance that the hosts will give it to a player chosen randomly from the playerlist. So, if a player has received an invention once and is targeted a second time, there will be a 40% chance that they will not get the second invention. If they are targeted a third time, there will be a 60% chance that they do not get the third invention. You don't know who has already received an Invention. The % chance and the random player choice will be determined using Random.org.

The Invention will be distributed with the following day post, and the name of the Invention will be announced in the day post. The Invention can be used immediately upon receipt, or on the first night phase thereafter if it's a night action.


However, it gets more interesting than that! You have the following additional abilities and restrictions:

- You may only name the same player as the Inventor once per game. In the extremely unlikely event that every living player has already been the Inventor, the hosts will create three Inventions and the Obs QT will choose one of them by vote.

- You may name yourself, but not on Day 1.

- Once per game, you may type ## ATTRACT INVENTION: in the thread, followed by the name of one of the inventions that has been revealed in the day posts. If that invention has not yet been used, it will be instantly taken away from the player who currently has it and given to you.

- Once per game, you can make your target a Reverse Inventor instead! Neither they, nor the player they choose to receive the Invention will know that the Invention is Reversed, but their Invention will do the opposite of what they intend it to. For example: KP will heal its target, healing will kill its target, etcetera. Note: Inventions which require the hosts to give information (DT checks, watchers, etcetera) will not give false information. Instead, they will publicly reveal that information about the user. (eg, if Player A used a Watcher Invention on Player B and the Watcher Invention was Reversed, the hosts will post ""Player A visited Player B"" with the relevant day post.

You are Compulsive: You must use your power each day unless you are day-roleblocked.

You are Obsessive: You keep records of who you use this power on and who the inventions are given to, and release them at precisely timed intervals. The dayposts after an invention is created, the name of its inventor will be publicly revealed. One day after that, the name of its recipient will be publicly revealed. For example, if you name Player A on Day 1 and they invent a Widget on Night One and give it to Player B, the Day 2 post will include ""A Widget was invented""; the Day 3 post will include ""UPDATE: The Widget was invented by Player A""; and the Day 4 post will include ""UPDATE 2: The Widget was given to Player B"". This will reveal the actual recipient of the invention, not the target, if the recipient was randomized.

If you die, all remaining records will be instantly revealed upon your death.
