The reason why no one does it, and therefore DP says its bad, is cause there isnt really much upside. Upsides are if someone gets copchecked then he can claim away his purposed red identity. How many times have you seen people caught by a red check? Not often for me. Upsides for town is to just not waste a check on you. Dont use blue claims and stuff. Use behavioral analysis. Why is DP's supposed bad view towards his claim scummy? | ||

High profile players are magnets for checks and a miller claim pretty much guarantees you won't be checked. The part that I find scummy is that he said he considers himself a good scum player. I tend to agree. A good scum player is more than willing to attract attention to himself for personal benefit. He is saying that as a scum he would not be willing to attract attention to himself for personal benefit. Defending the miller claim because it benefits town is fine, but defending the miller claim because its an unlikely mafia decision isn't. | ||

B.) decided to immediately fakeclaim miller out of the blue in case I happened to be DT checked. As oats said the upside to fakeclaim is negligible. It just isn't a safe play for scum to make. It is cheese essentially. all I am asking is to be considered null which I think you will find is also consistent with that quote you pulled. | ||

Marv is strong scum player. That isnt an argument. That said, DP wont do this as scum. Like he isnt bored of playing scum as far as I know, its his first game in a while. DP elaborate on your scum read on OO please  | ||

Thanks Although I don't believe DP has properly articulated the reasons behind his scumread against you, this will never be a meaningful defense, and you should know that. Drawing associative cases between unflipped players is not even remotely helpful. Why would you ask him to do that? Or are you just asking him to give another scumread besides yourself? If _I_ was under attack for specious reasons I'd focus my efforts on A) shooting them down and B) pointing out that the guy is scum, or hunting scum who aren't him. At the very least, if I were going to criticize him, I'd do something like ask him to lay out specific reasons for his suspicions. If I were super lazy, I'd ignore him or call him bad (or both). Your response here is not reasonable/useful | ||
