Of course it means something. If I have reason to believe that someone is town, but someone else makes a case about said person, then judging the case is a good way to decide if either I'm wrong about my read, or if the person could be trying to push an unauthentic case.
FWIW, I feel like some of the points in Golems case are really....reaching. "Soft defending" himself? The quote in question was that he, Hapa, had no reason to look into the rest of the population. He never said "Hey don't look into me because I'm not one of those 3 people", nor did he imply it. Of course he isn't going to look into himself. That's not soft-defending yourself, that's just common sense.
And...basically all the rest of it a connection case between *TWO* unflipped players. The only point he made that actually makes ObsQT scum on his own is the one about "soft defending himself" (which is bullshit anyways). Everything else he wrote 100% falls apart if Dirk isn't scum.
