Boy oh boy and what a Day 1 it has been! The town has mislynched WittyHydraName and I don't feel too good about that at all. Nope, we did suggest the switch onto DirkHardpec with ObliviousEyes but we were too little too late and we have been a little lacking in credibility so far, to be fair Wave. Right you are, Soniv. So how are we going to make up for this leading up to Day 2? Well to begin with, I'd like to call out a couple people based on their recent reads of us. Moology calls our threatened switch onto Hardpec a blatant sheep vote (despite us not voting for him in the end to achieve solidarity with the town) so why don't we provide him with a couple reads? Probably because there's nothing about our primary read that hasn't been said already? Dirk Hardpec blatantly sheeped himself onto the Witty bandwagon without any explanation himself, and then spammed and accused marv/keirathi of being scum, a sentiment we do not agree with at all, right? I think the rest of the town needs to have a real close look at Newbie during Day 2 though and maybe if Dirk comes back we can get into their interaction a little more. So town, thoughts? What seems obvious to me, as thrawn said himself, is that he is town. Thrawn is not playing anything like his scum meta and all, and obviously cares the most about the game at the moment. I know it's taboo to mention town reads at night, but mafia should just as easily be able to discern his towniness in relation to others, so I'm not worried that I'm giving out wildly shocking analysis here. Throats is probably town. After that... I'm less sure. I feel like the Marv/Keir head is probably town, because aggression is something I do not associate with mafia Keirathi, so that's a point in their favor. Marv's analysis of the Adam/Snarfs hydra was spot on in my opinion, the only thing that made me rethink it was how easily it really did go down. Rarely is a mafia lynch that simple. I have no real reason to suspect them as mafia, BUT IT'S MARV, and he sets off my paranoia-dar in every game, so that's nothing new. Hapa has been oddly quiet. In small minis like this, town Hapa is usually a pretty good driving force for conversation. I might have to give that head a good look very soon, because with the Adam/Snarfs town flip, they do look noticeably worse. Moology is fairly townie. I mentioned earlier that Moc felt off, but they are consistently sharing their thoughts with the thread and being fairly objective since the arguing earlier, so I don't feel especially motivated to filter them extensively any longer. Casting golems are a veritable mystery, but between the two of them I feel like they're the weakest players here, so I give them some more imaginary slack in the way of real reads. That big post above looks decent, and it agrees with my general suspicion of Hapiamp, so I they are currently green to me. Dirk might be mafia after this flip, especially since he only barely managed to shove the lynch onto Snarfs/Adam. Lots of people have said this, but the low hanging fruit is usually a decent place to look for mafia, and they are indeed the lowest. It doesn't help that they seem to be trolling with their post signatures and such. Who else is there, the VE/OO head? I've been ignoring them, to be honest. I wanted some actual thoughts about it. Do you think he's been intentionally avoiding the spotlight? He has had flashes of his town arrogance, but for the most part has been quiet. Do you think a scum iamp would basically out himself in the thread like that? I mean, anyone who is familiar with iamp knows that already, but its one thing for everyone to know something, and another thing for you to personally tell them what makes you scum and then...keep doing it. | ||

What I do know is that they are both collectively confident, spam-happy town players normally, and I am not feeling that from their filter this game. It's markedly off, and it's something I have noted, but then again, most everyone is playing low-activity for their normal selves. | ||

Iamp has definitely stayed out of the spotlight. At least compared to his normal town persona. Town iamp is very...outspoken. Like I said, he's done that a few times (particularly him calling out marv early, etc), but its still in much, much, much less frequent than how he normally plays as town. He's been pretty content to just make an occasional, useless comment. Almost all of the actual content is from Hapa. | ||

I just reread that filter, and it's Hapa who is being active, not iamp. I really don't feel like they're worth pursuing any longer. Hapa does not look disinterested, despite the low activity. Compared to some, he is kind of spammy actually. | ||

Well, I dont think that being spammy in itself is a town tell, but I do think Hapa has been decently interested in the game, and giving some useful insights. I was kind of like Throats, leaning town on Hapa, leaning scum on iamp. But the WIFOMy iamp thing is enough that I'm pretty okay with them for now. Now, what does that mean about the big case from Golems about ObsQT? | ||
