I'm comfortable with the idea that mafia might try to manipulate me. Therein lies mistakes.
DearestSnot: I'm not sure. prplhz is even more inactive than he normally is as mafia, he usually at least pretends to play the game a little. And at least the posts he has made have a certain light-hearted tone to them.
I'd really much rather lynch Oatsmaster at the moment. For the reason I already mentioned, and in addition he asked me a terrible question on why me not running for mayor is not the same as sandroba not running for mayor. This means he read my post where I quite clearly stated it was sandroba's continuing lack of input that was the real problem, so he's twisting my words for no discernable reason.

But it only applies to people I never really played with. See thrawn (my last game) and Blazinghand(first game I played with him). I need to look these things up, so I can easily explain this rule in the future.

Vote for a guy who doesn't want to be mayor, with really shitty "if he's scum" logic. There's never a good reason to give a free lynch to a player you don't have a really good town read on. You're proposing to trade the office of mayor, with the protection and the powerful synergy with mason roles, for a read on a single player that can easily be ascertained otherwise.
Why do you seem to care so little for who becomes mayor if it isn't you? You "don't like" Austin or gonzaw, but you don't say why. You seem ready to discredit Chezinu on a moment's notice, when I see him as a valid candidate.

I'm also sorry for stating the obvious, but the guy in second position gets to be sherrif, and that's a good spot for the mafia as well (immune to detection and night kills as well). I think we should organize ourselves so we have two town players on the key positions, that is mayor AND sherrif. That's why I don't think we should vote sandroba if he doesn't prove us that he is town today.
I'm not convinced at all for the moment.

Yamato, you seem to not be able or willing to view things from my position. I do care a lot about who becomes mayor, hence my initial candidacy.
Why am I just voting the guy who is seen as the strongest town player in here and at the same time the guy who finds JieXian scummy along with me? You only mention the "if he's scum"-argument, that looks like you have a predisposition to paint me scummy in the first place...

The times that I've seen Chezinu give reads, they've been QUITE good. He also, in my mind, has some other qualities that I want in a mayor - someone that scum is going to have a hard time misleading and someone who can deal with being masoned well.
