I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, but I'm not sold on Eywa over Vivax for today. Simply because outside of people coming back (myself, scib, etc) the town is really stagnating on discussion. If we lynch eywa and are wrong we miss out on any info from the flip really since its pretty much agreed he's scummy as shit and should die. Whereas we've had disagreements with Vivax and it gives us stuff to analyze moving forward. That said if you guys would prefer Eywa I'll change my vote over as those are the two that need to die.

Stutters, don't change your vote for anyone but yourself. Vote for the guy you think is most likely to flip scum.
I'd also bet on Palmar being serious.

you don't lynch for info.
Every lynch will give you info, so just lynch the scummiest.
Right now I think it's you.

the only choices are eywa, vivax, you, or sciberbia.
Of those I'd kill eywa. But stutters first.

What do you feel about hoping Eywa- gets force replaced? Which will happen if he doesn't vote in the next 2 hours.

if he comes and votes randomly in the next 2 hours he's 100% scum

Right. So do we leave him, try to find the other scum and know that Eywa- will either be replaced or scum claim or do we hit Eywa- with a noose because fuck that guy?
What do you think is the best course of action here.

Will Eywa- be modkilled if he doesn't vote?

It's not that I'll just sheep anyone. It's that if I don't have the power to convince people to lynch Vivax, Eywa is the only other target I'd accept so I'd rather consolidate onto him than have my vote sitting in the abyss when we might only have 8 people voting. I'd say at this point even if I consolidated onto Eywa, I made it pretty clear Vivax was my preferred choice.
Anyway, regarding Wiggle's interactions with WBG, Vivax, and Eywa there isn't much going on.
He buddies up to WBG early and says he'd rather lynch Palmar over WBG despite Palmar having much better play d1 (imo). He could have been doing it to fuck with us to try and get Bugs mislynched since it seems like a really bad play for two experienced scum players. Of course by the same token, since they are experienced, I wouldn't put it past them to go for the "so dumb, no one will see it coming" approach, although I do find it unlikely.
Eywa: he does some joke RPing with him before calling his case on Palmar bad and made an interesting (and true) point about how it felt like Eywa only made a case because people told him no to a no-lynch.
His points on Vivax's case against WBG was essentially saying it was a weak case and that everything he listed is generally a null tell. Not wholly remarkable in any way until this post + Show Spoiler +On December 21 2012 06:35 Mr. Wiggles wrote:Show nested quote +On December 21 2012 06:11 yamato77 wrote: Convince me on Vivax then. If your offer is still valid, I'd enjoy if you took a closer look at stutters (for my post) and sciberbia (for not showing up since he wrote his case), also, Bugs instareading sciberbia as town was quite suspicious play. He didn't even give a fuck about what he wrote. And speaking of Bugs, I'm in for lynching him for shitting up the thread with his massive quotations and throwing around brainless votes. He's just causing confusion and refusing to cooperate. Still, do me a favour and take a look at my case :>. ##Unvote ##Vote Wherebugsgo His main reason for lynching him is that he's throwing his vote around and making posts with lots of quotations. There's not even any reasoning there. Townies can throw their votes around just as easily as scum, and in fact it can be useful sometimes to get a reaction, and making a big post doesn't shit up the thread unless you don't know how to use a scroll-bar. Big posts also have nothing to do with being scum. I thought it could be a joke, but he's kept on keeping on when it comes to WBG, and along the same lines too, so it looks like he's actually serious about it. A little more reasoning comes later, but it's not very well explained. So, it looks a lot like someone who needed to come up with a reason to throw out a vote and he came up with that hilarity. i.e. Scum that needs to look like they're scumhunting. Since then, he's been calling out some of the people on my lynch: Show nested quote +On December 21 2012 03:57 Vivax wrote:On December 21 2012 01:21 Morbidius wrote: Vote count please? Now say to my face that this post has ANY use whatsoever for scumhunting. Anyway, I'll take a look at this Wiggles bandwagon and try to decide who to drop my vote on. It was my last uni day before Christmas and I'm fucking tired, so don't expect some lengthy analysis on my choice. This Saturday I'll be travelling to Austria, so I will post less, if not anything at all during that day. This helps him, because when I flip town, he can go back and say that the people on my wagon were scummy, and that he was right in calling them out, focusing attention there. The fun part is that he's also setting himself up right here to potentially hop on my wagon himself, while still condemning it as a bandwagon. So, he can either vote against me, and use his earlier posts as justification that my wagon was bad and the people on it were scum, or he can join it and lay low. Now there is a major distinction to make here. After the votes started piling on him, he all but ignored Eywa and WBG while his only case of any kind was on Vivax until the deadline.
This part is what stood out to me: "This helps him, because when I flip town, he can go back and say that the people on my wagon were scummy, and that he was right in calling them out, focusing attention there. At this point, Wiggles was sitting at 6 votes. He must have known he was going to die. So then the question is, is he intentionally distancing himself from a scumbuddy because he's going to die or is he hoping to WIFOM us into thinking they're scumbuddies? I can't really tell with that one but between the complete stopping of interaction with WBG and how he still focused on Vivax with intentional WIFOM that I'm feeling more confident in thinking only one of the two is scum instead of a possible Vivax/WBG team.

@Prom So you think we should bet on Eywa getting modkilled and use our lynch on somebody else? But what if he shows up at the last second and votes?
|
I'll lynch him tomorrow since that is a scum claim.
|
So wouldn't it just be better to kill him today?
Since we have an odd number of players remaining (9), a modkill doesn't increase our killpower. We can either have 4 lynches (Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6) or 3 lynches (Day 3, Day 4, Day 5) and a modkill on Eywa. Assuming we need all our lynches.
I'm thinking it would be better to lynch him just so there's no chance of him showing up and voting, and then wasting our entire day tomorrow with a unanimous vote on Eywa.
What do you think?

nope, that's scummy as hell.
If he shows up we kill him. If not, we kill stutters.
He's going to die one way or another.

think about it this way:
if he doesn't show up, he gets modkilled, town or scum.
If he does show up, he dies tomorrow.
Either way, he dies. The better one for us is that he gets modkilled. So let's kill someone else today. Makes no sense to lynch him today.
