I haven't read all of the case itself yet but I do agree with the part about how it seems like he's pushing rationalizations for his opinions rather than trying to push his opinions.

Let's do the math,
First you target 5-6 people without justification and just ask for people to jump on them
Second, you argue to keep votes on a certain person who was obviously a civilian
Said civilian is lynched, you run off saying it was the right decision because it's best to lynch someone than nobody
