I want to lynch DarthPunk. I found his early defence of Xatalos quite bizarre and unnecessary. Not only this, it has been quite out of play with his subsequent play. DarthPunk tells us he was "feeling protective" of newbie Xatalos. But he treats Lazermonkey, someone with not many games and with similar standing in the game, as a piece of fucking shit on the bottom of his shoe. He also calls the whole thread useless and retards, which jarred at the point that a lot of us were genuinely trying to talk through Xatalos and other matters. It was just shitty ranting for the sake of shitty ranting. I'm also not picking up any of the towntells I normally get from DP. They might just be absent and he's town, but I don't think so. I think there are many better lynch candidates out there than DarthPunk. He has been active and transparent with his opinions. Any of Zealos, ShiaoPi, VE, DYH, Dandel Ion would make for a better lynch. Why DarthPunk over all these other players?

For anyone who's particularly concerned about Zealos's vote on Xatalos indicating Zealos is scum...here's my hangup.
WHY WOULD SCUM DROP A VOTE LIKE THAT?
When it comes down to "scumZealos is trying to look like he's not just jumping on board a lynch" and "townZealos is dropping a vote without a good explanation" ... I lean towards the townZealos option. I know that you may want to justify a vote as scum, but...that's not the way to do it.

I lynched Zealos in that game he keeps mentioning (magic mini) because he voted for someone on day 1 who he said would probably flip town.
in other words the vote was epically bad, and it was scummy, in that game.

what the fuck? scum drop votes like that all the time. They're not backed heavily by justification, or they're backed by "justification" that is made to look as if a contribution is being made.
Was what Zealos said real contribution or was it "contribution"? I think the answer to that is fairly self-evident.
The vote itself is null at worst.

I think you're putting too much weight into metagames. I'd say it's better to lynch someone who is acting scummy in the thread than someone who might be playing according to his scum meta (or not). You guessed my alignment correctly once when I was Mafia and you were observing based on meta, but meta shouldn't be the only or even primary tool of playing.

That's the idea, but honestly I concede that it could just be emotion clouding my judgement.
Having gone over some filters, I'm less inclined to lynch Xata because A) he's more active than over half the game, and B) in spite of his primary target being a townie, he's saying other things I agree with.
I'm MORE inclined to lynch Dandel, as his posting has been terrible, and he's done literally nothing. And he's not even like, absent - he's got about a page of filter inside the game (non-pre-game) and I don't like any of it.
Shiao is.......I want to wait on Shiao. At least a day. Maybe tomorrow. I'm not really reading Shiao as scum right now.

Don't lynch Zealos- he's town. He's defending other people, which is what he does as town. Town Zealos in Bureacracy criticizes other people's cases on other people, and lobs around the occasional weak post without really contributing substantially. Stuff like "waht makes him any more s cummy than me". He also dogs the same guy (me, in this case) over and over again until he gets what he wants. he's not captain active-- he comments on other cases and doesn't make big case posts very often. Scum Zealos in LV makes multi-pronged posts. Scum zealos in MTG vote-hops a LOT. Also in MTG he qualifies (see interactions with Hiro) and phrases things as questions rather than just calling him scummy (as he does with his targets in Burea when town). A note about HiroPro/Zealos interaction in MTF is that Zealos is attacking Hiropro's case not like he usual does "oh, this doesn't make sense, please elaborate" but just by calling it bad and voting Hiropro after a small argument.
I don't think he's playing great but Zealos is not a good lynch today.
