Ok for now, I think the party leader should be toadesstern because He started off his post with a scumread, which shows effort in reading the thread instead of mindlessly posting without actually analysing anything like almost every player so far. His posts look really sincere and his logic is spot on On November 21 2012 17:13 Toadesstern wrote: Oh and I forgot: Yeah we need to find someone to send d1 and that's all nice and fine but I don't think it's a good way to keep the talk all focused on only that. Faking townreads as mafias is incredibly easy. Faking mafiareads as mafia is something that takes effort. If we're only going to talk about who we're going to send d1 we're giving mafia an incredibly easy time skating by. I know it feels counterintuitive as clearly the shortterm "goal" is to send a good guy d1 but I think we should try and balance those issues out. After all, the goal in the longrun is to figure people out and we won't be able to do that by playing nice all day long. His posts look really hard to fake for scum and because of his reputation as being imba, I am voting Toadesstern ##Vote: Toadsstern

So, his real decision is in fact secret and communicated to the hosts only via PMs, right ? Do the players get the confirmation that they were indeed in the party after the resolution of the event ? The Party that was chosen by the party leader will be listed in the next cycle post.

Not much thought put into this decision but ##vote sandroba Good town, easy to distinguish town from scum. You usually have a million page filter when you are town, I've a hard time believing you find the size taunting. What do you care about then and what are you going to about it? Why do you say sandroba's town play is easy to distinguish from his mafia play, my impression from looney lynching was that you had no idea whether he was town or mafia on day 1 (he got shot n1)?

The one you linked, he gets caught pants down by DP at the beginning of D1, I think that my contribution was the best.

Once we've done that everyone but the elected person can go scumhunting, people end up finding town when they scumhunt anyway. As long as the elected person is transparent about his reads and choices, we can simply read his analysis rather than have 20 people make their own. When we've consolidated on someone, by all means let's scumhunt. Regarding the current party leader election: Despite my early support of his election, I would like to see from sandroba more discussion of his likely running mates before I place my vote on him, as well as some discussion on his syllo comment. You can also expect a more detailed discussion of who I would have in my party if I were to be elected when I return early this evening. I propose we move the election field down to two candidates in the near future. I will position myself as the alternative to sandroba, unless if the case arises that a serious contender appears, in which case I will concede to help expedite consolidation. + Show Spoiler + (Or live on as the third party candidate that no one had better vote for. Take your pick.)

I have been vague about my own aspirations, because I feel the last time I was voted mayor I let the team down a bit. I felt like I should take a back seat on this election, but without a serious contestant for Sandro I am not sure anymore. Why did you feel that I was a serious contestant for Sandro ? I didn't recall anybody showing any interest in my secrecy approach nor anybody giving a town read on me, nor any vote for me. Could you tell me why you felt this way ?
