It's not possible for me to know which one of us is going to advance. I might not be able to be here at deadline so I might not even be able to check and last minute vote. I also prefer to clearly state my intentions right now rather than creating confusion at deadline by dropping suddenly 6 votes. I want Hopeless to advance and to be lynched today, regardless if I'm advancing or not. I also want my votes to be useful. I thought it through and I think the best thing was to use all my votes right now. The side effect is that people who would prefer ON to advance (or Hopeless to be eliminated) have also to commit their votes to achieve it and I really like this as well. By the way, I'm going out for the night and I don't know if I would be able to wake up before 11am tomorrow, if you know what I mean  | ||

Sorry,,,, again mistypo, I meant If Djo is scum then Hopeless cannot be scum. So either both are townies, or Djo is scum and Hopeless not, or Djo is town and Hopeless is scum. But not both scum. | ||

@EchelonTee So sandroba kept up his appearance for the first couple of hours and since then he's had a "hunch" post and one measly contribution. Do you really think this looks like townie sandroba? Last sandroba townie game I remember was Space Station where he ruled the town with an iron fist and nailed like 5 out of 6 scum in the first two days. Fucking ridiculous. We have no idea of sandroba is town or scum. I had an early town tell on sandroba because his ideas lined up with mine; this is what I always do to try and figure out towniness. If I find myself coming to the same conclusion as someone independently, then I feel more comfortable with that player. I might be wrong on sandroba, but I am far more comfortable leaving him for a Day 2 read. However, it's simply not right for people to say "EchelonTee supports sandroba. Since I think sandroba is scum, EchelonTee is also scum". That's making an associative tell before full information is available. Will I get a ton of heat if sandroba flips scum? I was unclear in my intention of those quotes, I was trying to show your sarcastic manner. Yes part of my suspicions was the interactions between you and sandroba but also the way that everytime you show up you show the need to defend yourself in an over the top manner, and then take off. Its not a huge tell, or big scum read, and thats why I didn't use more votes to push you through the matchup. Obviously, it is not scummy to be wrong about something. But since you are not up for lynch anymore, I will stop pushing you, and hope we have 1 mafia in the final 4 that we can make champion. Prove to me through your actions, not through your defenses. through the rest of the day cycle why you are town. If you are town, lets kill scum, if you are mafia, nothing we can do about it for day 1 at least. | ||

I don't disagree with your logic, but an example like that shouldn't be a hard association. Remember those were early rounds; a scum putting votes on his buddies in those rounds allows him to distance himself from them (a good scum tactic) while not endangering them too much. 2.) I disagree; people can change their mind as the game develops, and Mementoss has been fairly open, and clearly posted why he changed his logic. 3.) I think the fact that Austin didn't vote in the 2nd round is a bit strange. Not a huge tell, but IMO townies should be involved in at least a few of the matchups per round, for the reason you stated. This point doesn't really hold; you say that a townie who is still in the running for a lynch would probably be more active, which is true. But a scum who is up for lynch would also probably be more active, compared to if he wasn't up for lynch. While I have my own reasons for being suspicious of ON, your logic here is a lot less laid out then your previous points. 2. It's not ok to put down an opinion, then say "well I'm not so sure because I'm a newbie". It seems like you're trying to shy away from responsibility for your actions. Especially because you are more assertive in other posts. If you could make a more definitive stance on 1der/ON, that would be nice. | ||
