Are they really that contrived? D1 VE pushed a pretty fast case on you. I ended up backing away from that because it wasn't comprehensive enough. I said "we had him cold" not "I had him cold"; I was confused as to why VE (who was the town leader at the time) had dropped you after nailing you the day prior. After the obvious wagon that was the read on the situation. Otherwise your sheeping vote makes no sense. Town Lvdr would not sheep off BL and onto Obvious that quickly and with no explanation, especially when you didn't have a read on Obvious before. Then you martyr yourself... ironic then because you voted Obvious, who was martyring himself, and also ironic now, because you are vigorously defending yourself to town rather than martyring yourself which you said you would do. Finally, on your Talis case, you said you had a null read on him. Then you said maybe that was a scumread. Then you voted for him and said that you wanted to see what happens. Then when he didn't get lynched, you re-voted him and didn't say "oh my read on Talis has changed to a scum read", but rather said "I want to reaffirm my previous scumread" which is a blatant lie since you never had a firm scumread on Talis to begin with. This would be fine if you were doing a lot of scumhunting already, but you weren't, so this seemed like an attempt by yourself to falsely claim you were. After you did that, I dug through your filter, and the rest, as we will all soon say, is history. | ||

In more peaceful times, this land and the people who worked it would be wholly unremarkable. In these tumultuous times however, the farmers and shepherds here carried the unique distinction of being immediately better off with the monarchists in hiding. Gone were the tax collectors, and tributes to the crown; every harvest was sold down to the last grain. With the revolution on, the people of Liquidia had taken to hoarding, and were happy to oblige the farmers by buying everything they brought to market. This windfall was enjoyed first-hand by Lvdr, who had left the city to find work, and to put some distance between herself and the revolution. The thought of the scrutiny that she would have received had she stayed behind was terrifying; those with close ties to the monarchists were bound to be the first to hang, and she had worked for one as a maid for many years. With no means to travel cross-country, she had to hope that the country-side lived up to the reputations of it being an afterthought, and its people invisible, to those living in the city. She would daydream often about the revolution. Her compulsion to support the cause was strong; few people knew the wickedness of the nobility as she did, and she had the scars on her back and wrists to put truth to those words. She dreamt of returning to the city, telling her story, and giving what information she had for the good of the revolution…but fear always stopped her. Her refuge was an orchard; her largest responsibilities were to oversee the produce as it was taken to market, and find a buyer. The last trip was curiously lucrative; she dealt with a wholesaler she had never seen before, and the price offered for all her produce caused her eyes to narrow; it was as if this man was a swindler of some kind, but she couldn’t make out how. Against her better judgment, she consented to sell. Unbeknownst to her, someone had been watching. Shady Sands gathered other town leaders, and paid her a visit at the orchard. “Conspiracy,” he said to Lvdr, when they stood face to face, “you have been conspiring with the wholesalers to provide food to the monarchists in hiding.” “That is a lie! You haven’t any proof, I’m certain of it!” she said. “The man you dealt with is missing, and your apples sold for far more than they’re worth.” He drew a deep breath, in preparation for the large amount of damning evidence he had accumulated. “I’ve spoken to the Merchant’s Guild, and they could not account for this man with any certainty. More, we spoke to a former associate of yours. The cook, employed in the same house of villainy that you were, told us much of your close relationship with the head of the household. This is more than enough proof, and the town will see you hanged.” Lvdr argued with them, trying to explain how the Merchant’s Guild can’t account for half of their number even on a good day, how her employer had beaten, scolded, and abused her mercilessly, and how the cook would lie about his own mother if he thought it would save his skin. It fell on deaf ears. When they arrived at the gallows, marvellosity greeted them, looking perplexed. “Something doesn’t seem right,” he said, “there is more going on here than we are aware of.” “She is guilty and she will be hanged. Now move aside,” said Shady Sands as he led Lvdr up to the noose. Marvellosity tried to quickly think of a retort. “Talismania likes apples,” was all he could manage before the trapdoor opened beneath Lvdr’s feet. First, I apologize to everyone here (and Lvdr) for tunneling him so hard. I honestly thought we had a scum. Second, if scum saved up 2kp town is facing LYLO tomorrow; if not, MYLO. Either way, the road ahead is going to suck. Third, I have a few more reads coming up. I will be digging through Marv's, DJ's, IamP's and Chez's filters. Also, KVille needs to better explain his Lvdr greenflip/DJ redflip theory. | ||

Me on Day 2 : Honestly. im falling towards lvdr side. either you guys are reading to hard on this or some of you are just trying to get rid of town (scum). Are we going to follow DJ's statement now and follow with a vote on Chez? Lvdr lynch will give a big time info to us. If he flips scum, we're good. If he is townie, then we have all the reasons to suspect Chezinu. But is was bait right? The only reason I chose Lvdr to be the "bait" Yet he still sheeped Lvdr at the end of day 3. ##Unvote ##Vote: Lvdr This guy made this chain theory on Lvdr and Chez, yet he votes for talis and switches to Lvdr in the end? There can be some suspicions that talis is actually aligned with talis and that vote was just a "pump fake" to prove his innocence. Whats een moer suspicious about his vote on Lvdr is the fact that he stated this. On Lvdr though, he's my suspect #4. If he is your 4 then why vote for him on D3 and stick with your #1,2,3? why go from 1 straigh tto 4 with little to no reason.This kid is full of it, he made this "bait" excuse to buy himself time for the next day and you guys fell for it. Now what? are we going to kill chez becuase he of his statement on Lvdr turning green? Are we just going to kill another town and let scum take the advantage? I warned you guys about this here: what would happen if chezinu were to flip town as well? Your just making us vote town for scum. This is a pure scum play. Eliminating town after town. And here: if they were both to flip town(lvdr and chez)? Well by then mafia would have taken a huge win so, I guess that was your strategy. Everyone of my "mediocre" posts and theories are coming true step by step. I knew Lvdr was town, it was blantantly obvious to me that he was being framed and pushed for a lynch. We have done it twice D1 and D3 both flipping town. Note: that I never voted for obvious D1 and D2 had to be done or else it would have been a no lynch. But here you go marv at the end of the post. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THIS TOWN! If talis was to flip green what then? Lvdr WOULD HAVE been the next lynch. Now what would be the ratio after Day 4 lynch with BOTH talis and lvdr gone? SCUM WOULD WIN. Lvdr was the most strategic choice and would have provided the most information about what actually is going on here. There would have been no other leads if talis had flipped green.
