Zentor is not scum with wherebugsgo - WBG goes out of his way to point out in Zentor's post a non-scumslip (Page 8)
possible weak tie as coag remarks on it as well - so maybe coag is not with either, but coag's post is joke-y
marvellosity also makes a weak joke here - does he do that if zentor is scum with him?

Captain nominations - EchelonTee as a joke to lynch Ace
Sandroba intially with "I'll kill whoever I feel like and you guys can thank me later"
GMarshal because he actually hits scum day one
Zentor with the promise of killing whomever the thread votes for

Node gives an earnest first post, not much to read either way.

Coag claims not to have been PM'd (Page 11)

Zentor gives a small defense to Node, claiming others are rude. Does scum do that for a scumbuddy? Seems more likely
that he would let it go if the two were scum together.

VayeshMoru is playing the game in theme. Ugh. So hard to read when the player is already pretending.

sinani comes in and seems clueless about the mayor votes. Post seems genuine to me.

Errandorr's first post is literally "Hi" Does scum really do that? Seems unlikely. Oh he's not even in the game lol.

RayzorFlash comes in with his captaincy bid and does it in character. blech.

Maverick makes his weird but not that scummy to me "who I'm not going to vote for" post. Could be scummy if he was nervous
and trying really hard to think of something to contribute. Or could be town for same reason.

Strongandbig makes a post (his first) on page 11 that has the staccato "I'm commenting on everything" feel to it.
Doesn't necessarily reveal alignment but something to remember for later. He has also clearly been reading the thread,
as he references layabout's single post about voting for the best speech. So he's paying attention

Snarfs cruises in and votes for sandroba. Has snarfs made any other posts this game? Must have been chatting with sandro

|10f has a possibly awkward post. Ace meanwhile is pushing for random captaincy. I believe michaelthe also posted that.

Acrofales throws his hat into the ring with his first post. Does he do that as scum? He played a fairly cautious scum game
in DFM2 (Page 12)

Does risknuke outright say "I like ET" if he's scumbuddies with him? Less likely.

Froggnoddy arrives with a composed post. Doesn't say much about him. He says sensible things.

Acrofales actually semi-seriously suggests throwing ace out the airlock. Unlikely he and Ace are scumbuddies.

Kurumi comes with some semi-serious pointed comments to acrofales. Not sure what to make of their exchange.

Kurumi then says "yo acrofales sorry i need to get rid of layabout first" What the fuck does that mean?
His tone in general is difficult to pin down. What does he know about layabout and acro? Why is he posting
as such in public? Doesn't actually make those posts as scum though. Too out there?
Kurumi has a little mini-beef with marvellosity. Seems genuine - either well-faked or the two aren't scumbuddies

Kurumi is doing a lot of pressing questions - calls sandro scum and ace town. Risknuke questions this stuff,
risk and kurumi maybe not together.

Coagulation keeps making joke posts. impossible to read.

Kurumi claims sandro approached him but he did not claim to sandro.

Everyone talks about Ace like he's the tasselfoot of this group. Strongest player guaranteed to get killed.

Strongandbig makes posts that I think are scummy but he's probably town because my gut is always wrong on this shit.

Marvellosity was not contacted by Sandro, asks to be.

GMarshal has overcome his tentativeness about playing with PMs and chat. Also renews his campaign for captain (page 14)

Acro calls out layabout for not posting much, and asks him about froggy. Do these connections mean anything?
Or is he just behaving randomly?

Zentor reiterates his transparency campaign. He's tried three-ish times now for mayor. I don't think he does that as scum

Acro asks marvellosity in a joke to claim to him. Not sure he would do that if they were scumbuddies.

MrZentor is not scumbuddies with GMarshal based on GM's pressure on him and that they're both running.

Why is zentor promising to have himself be lynched if he messes up as captain? I presume he thinks it would never come to

Thread is trending towards a gmarshal vs sandroba for captain. Not sure if it makes a difference who wins.

rayzorflash votes for gmarshal. he seems to be thinking on superficial level about who would actually be the best captain,
as if that matters in the end. town-like, I suppose.

Node raises an interesting point about GM's stance on sandroba. It would be a sick twist if both GM and sandroba were scum.
Node's questions to GM make me lean disconnect there as well.

2. Jackal58 - put some pressure on node earlier, otherwise nothing solid. If I had to pick, I'd lean town on him.

3. sandroba - lean town for reasons I already discussed. Is the type of player who could do what he's doing as scum though, so must be cautious.

4. l10f - hard to say because of only that one (maybe two?) post. He merely weighed in on the captaincy debate, which I don't like. Neutral for now, curious to see what comes next.

5. Sinensis - no info, no clue.

6. Ace - there is a lot of metagame built around ace. As a new player on TL not familiar with his history/rep, I have no idea what to make of it. His play is a bit withdrawn in the thread, but perhaps he is playing more in the PM world (as kurumi's logs indicate).

7. RayzorFlash - I read him as town playing at a superficial level, or at least posting at one. He asked if I wanted to be captain out of the blue, which I think would be a strange thing to even think about or propose as scum.

8. sinani206 - no info no clue

9. senjai - sinensis, sinani, and senjai: are they playing the ultralurk scum strategy??? Kind of doubt it. Possible one is scum, but I think it's generally true that most scum try to at least look active.

10. chaoser - I remember his posts in the beginning and then nothing since - acrofales pointed this out as well. No clue.

11. grush57 - playing almost pm only, and being a bit cagey about it. Dunno what to say about it. Most scum wouldn't want to appear deliberately cagey, but I guess a few like to try to go to the next level of Sicilian logic.

12. risk.nuke - From what I understand has been doing quite a bit of chatting. Other than that I don't know.

13. EchelonTee - I am a bit suspicious of his FoS on Rayzorflash, mainly because I couldn't really see Rayzor as scum. I don't think it necessarily indicts ET, but I'm curious about his reasoning, and have asked him to follow up further.

14. Maverick32x - sandro is suspicious of him, as a posted log now indicates. I don't entirely buy it, but I can see it. Interested to see what he does next.

15. froggynoddy - kind of read him in the same boat as rayzorflash, but less sure.

16. prplhz - lurking threadwise, did vote. No info no clue.

17. michaelthe - I really didn't like the post he made where he responded to three general issues in the thread. Reactive posting makes me think scum, because seeming protown is easier in a reactive setting than in a proactive setting. The problem is townies post reactively too.

18. coagulation - playing loose and relaxed. lean town because of how loose he's been.

19. Snarfs - playing cautiously, not sure why. Early to support sandroba. neutral.

20. wherebugsgo - he seems like he did in the only game I've read on tl (DFM2), so lean town. I don't see the move he made where he changed his vote to himself all of a sudden to make much sense as scum.

21. layabout - layabout I can see either way. I did not like the post that kurumi also did not like, because it only dealt with what was being talked about and didn't offer much new. But he has done other things to probe for information, like his questioning of froggynoddy.

22. erandorr - uh really no clue. His first post was "hi" and his second was him instadefending himself. I'm curious why he dodged risknuke's request for chat logs.

23. MrZentor - lean town because I don't see the way he went about applying and unapplying for captaincy as a scum move, or a sequence of actions that a scumteam would support.

24. Node - no clue on node. I can't really remember what he's done off the top of my head, except for pressure a player a little bit.

25. Kurumi - I take it kurumi plays a very unique style. gut says town, brain says "wtf?"

26. GMarshal - I have no idea. He seems to really enjoy making little feints in one on one interactions. I have a feeling he would play this way regardless of alignment.

27. marvellosity - has not stuck out to me. neutral.

28. strongandbig - I dislike the kind of reactive posts he makes, as reactive posts always seem scummy to me. I thought it was interesting that he noted that Vayesh played this way in his last game that was a long time ago. Did anyone else go looking up Vayesh's history? I sure am not playing that hard haha.

29. Acrofales - lean town, he's playing looser and less composed for now than he did as scum in DFM2, and as an observer of DFM2, I leaned scum on him there from the beginning.

30. VayeshMoru - lean town I guess but he would make an awesome puppet for someone in a scumteam because in character players are impossible to read.

It starts with an apology, ends with a "gonna read the thread" and has filler in the middle.
Layabout responds to it I think with the idea that sandro would not be running for mayor as scum,
since scum would view the mayor as a major lynch target. So therefore voting for sandro = voting for townie
with information. Not entirely sure if that's where he was going.

Vayesh puts some in character suspicion on me

jackal posts, doesnt contribute much and doesnt appear to be trying to - just makes a joke about kurumi in response to strong's post

strongandbig makes a post commenting on vayesh. disconnect? I dunno. He calls him suspicious in a very cautious way.

ace's big post is interesting. I really can't read ace because he's doing what I think he should be doing regardless of his
alignment.

wbg undoes his vote on himself and votes for ace. Note connection to the story that wbg posted earlier.

Interesting thought: if mafia is clever, they should realize that this setup allows them to freely accuse each other
day one since only one guy gets to decide the lynch. Who knows if they thought of that though.

I think maverick may genuinely be in the same boat as froggy. He has eagerness/earnestness.

layabout ends up voting sandroba page 24: crazy theory - if GM and layabout are scumbuddies, then layabout might not want to pile on
GM at this stage. It was clear then that GM was winning, so why not throw a vote on the other guy. Or layabout
is just in the circle that sandroba is making or something.

It is kind of interesting that marvellosity chose to answer the question that froggy posed to mrz. would be sloppy
play out of scum but not out of the question.

I would be great for transparency but my confidence to come somewhere near hitting a scum for the lynch is 0. I've been following the thread closely but just today started sending lots of Pms. My overall opinion of vayesh is this:

1. he's clearly playing mainly for fun

2. If town, then he's acting very much on his own. He has not responded to my pm's and I haven't heard of anyone else talking to him. So he's taking a casual attitude.

3. If he's scum then he would make an amazing pawn. He is always in character and therefore impossible to read. A scum leader would have a great time using him to distract or whatever.

All he's done action-wise is vote ace and then say he was mildly suspicious of me. Doesn't really say much. Right now I would pick town for him if I had to.
