Hassy never had a chance to explain himself. VE states "he looks like scum", and people start jumping on the bandwagon and insisting that he's a good lynch. Probably because VE is scummy as shit. WBG's support of him is absurd in my eyes, I can't believe I'm seeing it.

do you even read your own posts?
You complain about people voting Janaan, then you turn around and complain about me supporting a player who is on the counterwagon to Janaan.
Start reading the thread and stop repeating your performance from GoT. I've given you a pass so far, but if you keep your current level of play up it won't be long before I start gunning for you.

@WBG: this post is why I'm happy with lynching Janaan. If you are a townie paying the least bit of attention, you should always know who you want to lynch. This is a lob, and he should have hit it out of the park.
Instead, he has to sit down and figure it out. Classic scum, in my book.

I'd say that constitutes "resistance to a Hassy lynch".
All aboard gentlemen, that's officially 5/5 Aspects of a Perfect Lynch.
I'm not trying to derail anything - I've made it perfectly clear what my intentions are. If you'll notice, the post in which I said I was suspicious of Hassybaby, I was actually voting for Janaan to avoid a no-lynch. It wasn't until I realized that there was actually some interest in a Hassy lynch that I started pushing for one.
What makes you say Hassy is a bad lynch ghost? Have you read his posts? Or are you just basing this entirely on the circumstances surrounding the wagon?

I agree that his response was relatively suspicious.
However, you'd be surprised at how many noobs actually do that.

@WBG: He's not a noob, I've played against him before. He should know enough by now to be able to spot at least one scum in the thread.
@VE: My gut reaction is to the bandwagon. You could do a lot worse than lynching Hassy today. My biggest problem is that you, WBG, and a couple of other players are presenting this like it's the only option for the town. That's really foolish when you consider that there was already significant movement made towards a Janaan lynch. One could easily look at these circumstances and interpret them as scum saving one of their own by derailing the thread.
I did in fact look at Hassy's filter. There's nothing hugely scummy in there, to me. Terrible lynch? No. Does it smell fishy? Yes.

That last sentence came out completely wrong. Round 2:
I did in fact look at Hassy's filter. There's nothing hugely scummy in there, but I don't see anything that screams useful townie. Terrible lynch? No. Does the circumstances around it smell fishy? Yes.

wtf? I hope for you're own safety that was not meant the way I'm reading it.

Not WBG, I was refering to Janaan. Very unclear, my apologies.
That was how you misinterpreted that, right?

From my perspective, I found it somewhat odd that people were all of a sudden willing to lynch Hassy. I didn't expect it, but I didn't care much because I need support to be able to kill Hassy anyway. So far the support has not come from suspicious players to me (I count one potential scum in the Hassy lynch supporters, unless I'm just being bad right now)
To me this indicates one of a few different possibilities;
1. Hassy was scummy to several people but not brought up because of the current sentiment to lynch Janaan (i.e. potential resistance to a new lynch this late would make it difficult or possibly even impossible to kill Hassy)
2. Janaan is scum and Hassy is town, which indicates scum want to kill Hassy over Janaan. We'd find out relatively quickly if that were the case, though, I think. (and by that, I mean within a cycle or so) So far I don't find any glaring indications of this.
3. Both are town, both are scum, or Hassy is scum and Janaan is town; in the first case, anything goes. In both of the second cases resistance to a Hassy lynch is just indication of a good lynch.

Whatever. I hope wbg and VE get shot tonight.
##vote janaan
Sorry if you're town bud. Scum wbg and VE did a perfect job of making me want to resist this idiotic hassy vote swap. Don't want a no-lynch.

we obviously won't know what possibility is the real one till one of these guys flips. Right now I think #1 is true though, based on the reactions in thread. Our best course of action is just to see what these two players do, and unfortunately I don't think we have time to try to kill anyone else. If we get support for it, I'd very much like to kill Hassy outright, and if we don't then we'll just have to fall back on Janaan. '

that is to say for you thinking I am scum. I don't particularly think Janaan is a bad vote.

Unlike you useless wbg I've been here almost the entire time reading everything. Stop trying to push this last second hassy nonsense and if you're laive in the morning push it then. I've read his filter, I don't see anything scummy. I do see a bunch of people I feel are scummy swapping to him off janaan.

That was how you misinterpreted that, right?
I "misinterpreted" it the way layabout posted ironically in storm saying "what? you haven't figure out at least 3 mafias by now?" which got syllo raging. IF everyone had 1 mafia figured out by now this game would be over. I take it you didn't mean to say figured mafia out but rather mean to say something along the lines "you don't have a single scum-read by now?".
That'd be an okayish and perfectly fine question. What you asked however sounds like everyone should have nailed at least 1 mafia by now which is just way to stupid be an option for interpretation. So I guess I misinterpreted what you inteded to say, yeah, sry. Move along but I really don't like the way of your posting.
Either it's me being german or you posting weird because that's the 2nd time I stumbled upon something that sounded really weird from you.
