Ok, so your case is associative tells-- that some people were voting me before I was clearly town, and those people who were voting me on D1 were my scumbuddies. I can't be 3rd party or sleeper cell even since they don't communicate D1 right? So you're saying "blazinghand is in the mafia faction and his scumbuddies tried to start his mayor wagon before he established himself as town"?
Is that really your case?

Here's the deal. I'm reading now that Grackaroni intends to shoot me tonight.
When I flip town, do NOT let him get away with it. There is absolutely no excuse for taking a shot at a townie in this situation, especially someone like me who is at least trying to keep the discussion moving.
Depending on how Grackaroni plays this out we should probably lynch him anyway. I understand that I was unavailable over the weekend and with a low amount of posts I'm an easy target to go for, but I think that now I've proven I can be an asset to this town, the fact that he's still thinking about shooting me is pretty incriminating.
I haven't been the model townie, so maybe it requires my flip. But if Grack shoots me, DO NOT LET HIM SHRUG IT OFF. I am not "just a bad townie".

man BH you are really reacting hard to a couple of questions. stop being so agressive. No one even called you scum. We just want to understand your actions
I don' agree with this here:
It's typically a bad idea to post at night. Town's ability to pressure Mafia is diminished, and except for stuff that really needs to be posted before people determine night actions and specific Q+A, it's better to put things off until just before the dawn.
we need discussions so THAT vigs can be directed.

Also, the fact Grack is also going for Blazinghand, someone I have a pretty strong town read on bothers me a lot.

Maybe you can clear this up for me Blazinghand- Why are you being so abrasive with everyone? If you are 'town' wouldn't you want to try to get people on your side instead of just acting like a small child?
Right now I'm thinking Kenpachi and Blazing are 3rd party at best.. scum at worst..

For fucks sake Blazinghand stop clogging this thread up with overly-aggressive bullshit and misdirection (and possible strawmen).
You didn't really do much on D1 except for being very aggresive, voting C_C, pointing out that shitty zelblade thing, and then just voting Drazerk like everybody else.
Now you come here all-selfrighteous and shit about how you are the most pro-town player, and the first thing you post is a seemeingly random aggressive response to another player instead of reading the thread and respond to pressure applied to you, and posting your thoughts.
Really, calm the fuck down and do something productive; and if you are ever pressured and suspected, don't act like this anymore.
You can be aggressive without being an asshole

@Gonzaw: Dude seriously?? Every time I wake up from being asleep, I end up on your lurker list to be shot into... This is beyond ridiculous... I'm almost starting to get the same feeling off you as I did off of VisceraEyes in Arkham City, where you're being overactive and contributing a lot of towny looking discussion to be seen as town...
Dirk seems to be contributing a bit more right now... I'm not sure if thats because he was called out for being a lurker, or whether he was genuinely away/busy... I still think he's scummy, but I'd be inclined to think there's better shots out there, and we can always lynch him tomorrow if he survives the night.
Now on to scum-hunting... Maverick32x... I think you're scum
On March 18 2012 01:30 Maverick32x wrote: But you're actually pretty right haha. I would rather not get it because I enjoy being town, and I would be afraid of a role switch, and I know I would not be successful at that... (Which may be a reason for you guys to elect me?) Plus, I don't think I'm ready for that responsibility... so I ask not to be elected....
Starts off the game with a lot of Wheatley talk, while not contributing any candidates or anything whatsoever. However, takes himself out of the running immediately by saying he "likes playing town", while also being wishy-washy as hell so if anyone brings this up, he can say "Oh I wouldn't have minded being Wheatley", AND "Oh, I didn't want to be Wheatley"
On March 18 2012 11:04 Maverick32x wrote: Ok, i've woken up!! And totally ninja voted really drunk when I got home and passed out...
This is what I voted:
##Vote: Drazerk ##Elect: Velinath
Here is my reasons:
Drazerk- I don't think he is being entirely truthful, and I don't think a town would just kill someone the first night randomly.
Electing Velinath is complete bandwagoning. You say the right things, seem active... and realistically we don't seem to have many other options... there isn't alot to go off of for this election at least right now.. open to change though!
Forget about the ninja-vote, but he lurks hardcore after jumping on the two bandwagons with VERY vague and random reasons. The funny thing is that Draz' first-night shot was universally seen as being town-favored. It was all the shit he pulled afterwards that made him scummy/a risk to town, and that's the only point he has for voting to lynch him...
I was leaning a bit to the scum side, but my read wasn't strong enough to really make a case yet... But just now, the icing on the cake:
On March 20 2012 02:22 Maverick32x wrote: All right! I've finally caught up with the thread completely...
I want to get off that 'lurker' list asap...
Wait, you are posting to get off the lurker list? Getting off the lurker list should just be a byproduct of active posting/being town. As scummy as that seems, I'm willing to forgive that for a bit and move on.
I'd first like to look at bit more at this Foolishness/Dirk thing that has kind of been brewing. I know there has been some back and forth on this, but one thing that really stuck out to me, was why did Foolishness target Dirk out of all the lurkers? (myself included). There have been plenty of fluff posts, yet he stuck to him... I also think that his post restriction is probably madeup, but that really shouldn't be something we dwell on, since it really doesn't matter if it is, or isnt....
If Dirk is scum, this seems like a pretty weak attempt at protecting him. Yes, there have been a lot of fluff posts, but theres no reason for Foolishness not to pressure someone that seemed scummy and had only one post that was pure fluff and achieved nothing at the time. I don't think Foolishness actually expected a wagon to form around Dirk, but it was good pressure, and it did end up getting Dirk to eventually post/contribute more. I don't buy that any sane person could think that Foolishness had no reason for targeting Dirk...
The death of Drazerk gave us a lot more information than I think we are considering... it appears that there are a lot of roles that exist in this game and different factions. We know there are some Sleeper Cell Agents that exist.. and we know there are 3 "Beings of Great Power" that remain... I have a strong feeling that those 3 beings really want that Destablization Engine, and Ganzow may of painted a target on his back with that latest post... I'd be curious as to what other purpose this item provides.
I think all of these things have been considered already, really, and he ends up using a full paragraph to say nothing really relevant...
How are we going to start looking for Scum? We've been REALLY hung up on 3rd party/items/roles etc. and really haven't focused in on our TRUE objective?
As for my personal scum reads: I sadly have pretty much none besides the lurker list, and that isn't very convincing at all for me.. I'm worried that a lot of third party people are trying to get their objectives met (Kenpachi) and don't care about town objectives at all...
Alright, wtf. You want people to hunt for scum, but the only analysis you have in your own post is about 3rd party/items/roles... Then you go on to not actually hut for scum and say that so far in the game you have NO scum reads? I find that more than a little bit hard to believe... This part of your post makes me VERY suspicious of you, the only real post you've made so far that had anything of substance, and it seems scummy as all f*ck...
If it was day, i'd have put a vote on you. Fortunately, it isn't, so you have a chance to come back here and actually scum hunt and make me believe you're town. Hop to it...

I don't mind an aggressive playstyle, it's just a little early for that. It's better for town, if you explain your actions calmly. When someone calls you scum, you may get aggressive, as long no OMGUS is involved (and you're not an OMGUS guy from what I can see.
Add C_C to that list (see filter from L) and I agree.

Nobody in this game can or should be convinced by people being nice. They should be convinced by evidence. I don't care about my town or my abrasion, I care about facts and winning the game. I never even said I was making a case on you. I'm pressuring you. You dodged the question. Here, let me rephrase it in terms that you can understand better: Ok, so your PRESSURE is associative tells-- that some people were voting me before I was clearly town, and those people who were voting me on D1 were my scumbuddies. I can't be 3rd party or sleeper cell even since they don't communicate D1 right? So you're saying "blazinghand is in the mafia faction and his scumbuddies tried to start his mayor wagon before he established himself as town"? Is that really your PRESSURE? No the main reason is that you seem to be hiding. If it wasn't for you getting voted for election and pointing out zelblade's post I wouldn't remember you were playing. The election thing I added is just that I found it suspicious that you were getting votes without being overly pro-town.

Calling out a suspicious post from Zelblade. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/fGbjD.gif) Your votes seemed suspicious. You did nothing pro-town before calling out Zelblade and people wanted to elect you. Why did you want to run for the election? It does in fact seem like you quit playing to an extent after losing it. Since losing the election, I asked veli some questions, went to bed, went to class, then came back. It has not been very long. I will not entertain your lunacy any further. If you have a real case, make it. Otherwise, get off my lawn. Also, what, my votes seemed suspicious? Are you fucking kidding me? Here's what I did: 1) voted Cyber_Cheese for totally reasonable reasons 2) saw zelblade's "slip" (and he has not been captain mchelpful since) and voted him for that totally reasonable reason. 3) refused to negotiate with terrorists Oh you're right clearly I'm suspicious, definitely i'm a problem and not a guy like you or nisani or something! Well I'm sorry you have a bad memory. Nothing I can do about that. I suppose I got my 13 votes from my 12 scumbuddies!

I defended you quite a bit, but this post is bad and OMGUS. Why would you assume that Grack is scum, just because he thinks you are? You're not exactly townie.
Because it's strictly bad to shoot me tonight. If I die it'll literally be only to kill discussion. I'm one of the few people actively posting.
I'm not sure how much longer I'll be around. If I die, please remember what I said about Blazinghand tonight, consider my flip not a confirmation, but a strong indicator that I'm right and he's town.
