I'm just saying that Dirk being scum is unlikely (but not impossible) if Palmar is scum. He'd want to pick two town players on his D1 team almost certainly, even assuming he can coordinate who's sabotaging (which he definitely could). My interpretation of Palmar's team suggestion was this: Palmar is scum, and he suggested Dirk and Nav who he both knew was town. He suggested Dirk because he wanted to look like he was suggesting a team, and he suggested Nav to be a "fall guy" for when the team failed, making up some bad rationalization of "well scum would care about the game more". I just don't think it would be optimal play for a Palm/Dirk/X scumteam to put both Palm and Dirk on a team together like that with Nav.

Perhaps, was there a reason you suggested nav for your team other than the fact than you think he was Palmar's "fall guy"? Or were you simply looking to go with a team that would pass?

In fact Kita, you've historicaly nayyed every team except for the team you suggested, Dirk/BH/VE. The ONLY difference in this team is that I've been swapped out for Navillus!

Context: Kita suggested Dirk/BH/VE. This team is Dirk/Nav/VE

Let's take a look at your reasoning for being skeptical of this team you've yayvoted:

I think it's pretty clear that Nav as a fall guy would not be scum. That being said, Nav has missed several votes (including his own) and has only ever yayvoted one team, and it had prpl on it. He's town, but with crap reads. Palmar is scum. Sent is probably scum. If I couldn't scrounge together a team that would pass, this game would end in a draw because there's nobody who's both smart AND town coming up in the lineup. I'm fucking Henry Clay, I'm gonna compromise the shit out of this deal.

The current set of three players isn't my ideal team. If the game had an unlimited amount of time remaining and I was able to select my ideal team of three players, I would probably nay it. I would still prefer a team with myself or probably you, over nav. If prpl were willing to put worth a kita/VE/dirk team, then I would pass on this one, but that seems incredibly unlikely. Like I said before, nav is pretty null to me. My scum team is still probably the same as I mentioned before.

Mission 1

Mission Success!

The plan was simple. Assault the winery supplying the army with their drink, to incite unrest among the soldiers.
As the team enters the enters the winery it is deathly quiet. Each footstep echoes down the long hallway. The team marvel at the stocked wine which seems to go on endlessly.
As they draw closer to the end of the hallway, one of the team pauses. He turns and asks "Did you hear that?"
"I thought I heard.... buffaloes. Nevermind, must have been my imagination" he said as they continued walking. They plant the charges and quickly escape to a safe distance to watch the fireworks.

Mission 1 suffered no sabotage attempts and was successful!

So this should be sort of completely absolutely 100% obvious but same team, also I think this puts these 3 people almost completely in the clear as if there was a scum their options are 1. sabatoge now 2. sabatoge day 2 with same team which yields them exactly 0 benefit over sabatoging day 1 and gives us a free day or 3. wait til we get a bigger team day 3 (someone said this is happening, that is true correct?) in which case they've left themselves with 0 room for error which seems just stupid.

Yes though I will say that if Palmar or Prplhz fail I have them sort of grouped in my mind so I would probably in that case jump right to you, and if it looks like it would go through I would be ok sending you through rn because that's really just switching the order, and I don't want to be really obstructivist, especially when at this point someone non-ideal needs to go through since, well, my ideal team just went.

It should be noted also that there might have been a misunderstanding about the sabotage rules - there was a night-phase in Resistance 1 where the scum team was given the opportunity to submit a sabotage. In this game it looks like scum have to submit their sabotage WITH their vote...so it's possible there's scum on the successful team who forgot to submit their sabotage. And with as many 'Failed to vote' as we've had, it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Just putting that out there. I think the original three sent is a good starting point, but don't just write us off as auto-town either. If one of us just stops making sense or starts acting super scummy, don't be afraid to call us out and if necessary, replace us over the course of discussion today. But have a damn good reason, because a successful mission is successful.

As for who I want on the next team, I'm torn between derp and kita. Gonna reread and see what I see.
