During the chaos caused by GMarshal's death, the mafia had succeeded in carrying out several other high-profile killings, including on several key members of the city police, further cementing their hold on Liquidia. The citizenry was furious, and demanded action in the form of an emergency mayoral election. And so it was held, with Palmar, previously GMarshal's main competitor, winning the mayorship in a close election, and BloodyC0bbler also being elected to replace the now deceased sheriff. After a period of short deliberation, they decided the best way to combat the criminal problem plaguing Liquidia would be to aggressively pursue and punish members of the mafia. Within a few days, their investigators linked youngminii to the killings of GMarshal and his bodyguards on circumstantial evidence. The town was out for blood however, and after a short show-trial, youngminii was found guilty of the murders and sentenced to hang. Gallows were constructed in front of the town hall, at the site of the bombing, and the next afternoon youngminii was brought out for his execution. He was met by a roaring crowd, and as the executioner pulled the noose over his head, he was asked if he had any last words. "I'm innocent! Why can't you see that! This is all a mistake, a horrible, HORRIBLE, mistake!!! Please, don't do THIS!!!" His pleas fell upon deaf ears however, as the crowd responded only with jeers and boos. Positioned over the hatch, the mayor gave a nod to the executioner, who pulled the lever, sealing youngminii's fate. youngminii dropped, the noose went taut, and it was near a minute before the body stopped jerking, and a trickle of green blood dripped from the corpse's feet and puddled on the ground. youngminii the Vanilla Townie has been hanged in retribution! Palmar has been elected Mayor! BloodyC0bbler has been elected Sheriff! There are no clues in this post. All actions are due by Monday, Nov 28 2:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) (Subject to change). The actual vote was everyone voting mafia into office, which gave them the opportunity to use a free lynch on anyone they wanted. Then again, it's hard not to vote a mafia into office when me and BloodyC0bbler were the only two town running for mayor. | ||

This game uses elections! That's right folks, day 1 you will all be voting for a mayor , rather than for who you want to lynch. The man (or woman) you elect to the august position of mayor will determine your day 1 lynch. The player with the most votes at the end of day 1 will become the mayor, the runner up (player with the second highest vote total) will become the sheriff. From the OP. After the mayor was elected, he sent me his choice for the Day 1 lynch. | ||

grats on staying on the dark shepherd despite overwhelming evidence supporting jumping ship. but all 27+ of you who voted probably voted on day 1 and havent cared since. now we lose our double lynches. now we have to lynch two nightproof players who should have been townies but no. dont sign up for this shit if youre not going to actually play the game. thats the best i can tell you if youre a noob. we dont want vote-and-run players who come in make 1 post and gtfo with a vote until the next cycle. | ||
