Ok question for a TL vet, what is the meta game of TL Mafia like these days? Example answer that I would give to that question if asked on another forum:

The meta here is one about lurking as scum and being called a vet at the same time so no one lynches you or a town player posts something that they didn't realize is scummy and everyone over reacts. Other than that, people tend to associate crazy games with ___ mod and very well balanced games with ___ mod. These players (small list) always tend to make the best points and its a joke to auto-lynch Twan on day 1 because he is a fish. Oh ya and ___ player always seems to go for weird gambits like claiming cop day 1 every single game even when he is the cop.

Seems a good place to ask this as any so let me know if I should take that ? elsewhere.

There is no true meta vaderseven, and you an be sure this game will not adhere to any meta seeing as regular players are a minority by far in this game.

But those few regulars who are playing will make their styles known fast enough. Also, if you are really interested don't just take your opinion from us, go back and read old games.

Regular forum browser, but never played Mafia. So if there is no slot for me or someone more experienced wishes to have the slot that's fine by me.

I have been making an effort to try learn about the game, so if I get in I hopefully won't be completely useless.

3.) kitaman27 Been around for a while. Always a solid day 1 lynch.
4.) sandroba Been around long enough to know what's going on. Usually helpful as town. Active at a minimum.
6.) Kurumi Legitimate troll. Usually very active in a spammish way. He only makes sense when he's scum, and even then, he keeps it to a bare minimum.
8.) GGQ Been around long enough to know what's going on.
9.) GreYMisT Is an excellent scum player, and a terrible town player. Basically what I'm saying here, is shoot him. (No, don't lynch him. That should be reserved for Kitaman)
17.) Jackal58 If he tunnels someone day one, that person is almost certainly town. After day one, he'll probably be right, but for horribly wrong reasons. Look at who follows Jackal's tunneling, as they are usually scum trying to jump on an easy bandwagon.
19.) Palmar Is either vocal, or hardcore troll. Don't get on his bad side, or he will make the game hell to play.
25,) IMABUNNEH He's a bunneh.
31.) The1stNewbie Probably a veteran player who is smurfing.
55.) Zona Not very vocal, but knows how to play a blue role. Solid thinker when he has time to think.
57.) Coagulation Tore off his caps lock key cause he loved mafia so much. No caps spamming rule was (probably) instated because of him.
63.) youngminii Good player on either end. Don't underestimate him.
68.) BloodyC0bbler He's mafia. But it doesn't matter that you know that, cause he'll still rape the town.
XX.) Palmar, Sandroba, RedFF, (and Syllogism should he join) communicate so frequently that they have achieved a state of hive-mind awareness, and without even looking at what the others have written know if they are scum or not. They are right some times, but will insist otherwise.

Not mentioned:
Ace [Ventura]: The best player in the world*
Pandain: He won a PYP and was the last man standing. Noone to this day is quite sure how he pulled it off.
Foolishness: NOBODY CARES.
Kavdragon: Will get lynched day 1. Unless he's scum, in which case he won't die.
Radfield: Will get shot night 1.
Flamewheel: Never /in's. He is AMERICA.
iGrok: Will be the second most wanted dead player by third party, get confused for the #1 most wanted dead person by third party, and get shot a day early by third party. Generally appropriately active in thread. Should be shot night 5, for no other reason than I said so. (Note: This should happen regardless of whether or not he is already dead.)
