I think its actually counter productive. You know the rules but that it at least from my experience from playing those games. (Maybe there are good games , I didn't play many times) If you want to prepare then read some old games or those going right now and the guides that exist

The minis are good, if not better. They're easier to follow because there's less players and/or spam.
Although in larger games spamming the thread is a good tactic for mafia
