Regarding prplhz:
So here's the deal, he's one of the harder people to read. His scumplay is pretty underestimated because of how bad his town play can be at times. He gets away with doing stupid stuff because he does it as town too, and he's not afraid of being cocky and aggressive as scum.
His post regarding LAL and policies seems genuine enough, although it was kinda stupid. LAL will be enforced no matter what. But his stance seems to be what he really believes, which is probably what you would do as town. Another thing is that while I think his scum play is good, I don't think he's ballsy enough to put his neck out to argue against an accepted town policy int he way that he's done. Notice that both he and chaoser oppose LAL, but they do it in vastly different ways.
I think calling prplhz scum would be very much over the top at the moment. The post he just wrote about me manipulating people is probably the most scummy thing he has done all game, because all it does is to try to detract from my analysis, which otherwise should be pretty beneficial to town.
Before that post I would be inclined to end up with something like "leaning town", but I guess he's just a pretty null read at the moment. If you held a gun to my head and asked me if he's scum or town, I'd go with town at the moment.
So yeah, we're not killing prplhz.

Yes, no one will pay attention to your analysis because of my one-line, muahahaha! Or maybe all the new people in this game will read twice before they trust you unconditionally. You always set yourself up as townie prophet, coming down from the mountain to converse with the plebs for exactly 3 posts before you retire up there again to meditate and achieve endless insight in the game. A lot of people may fall for this, I'm just saying that if you're new maybe you should read twice before listening to Palmar.

Palmar can't manipulate squat unless you count that because he is sharing his reads and that makes him lean more to town. Because sharing reads is a town move which makes his candidates seem more scum. But this goes for everyone who shares his reads. You want to say that sharing your reads are deceitfull and manipulative. It seems like your point in that statement was to alert people not to follow palmar blindly. Which there was really no risk of happening. To me it looks like a way to make a subtile pro-town post and that's mafia maner.

No, the game had allready started. You confirmed getting your role first of all players, then when people got going with discussing policy, you dropped the above post. During 2 hours people had been talking about policy, and even dropped a few weird posts that have since been called out, so the game had definetly started.
And about which part is scummy about it? Everything! You excuse yourself as a new player, thereby lowering our expectations on your contribution in the game, making way for future lurking. It´s an empty icebreaker, full of forced enthusiasm. The message of the post is "I´m trying to help but will probably fail". Is that the kind of player we are going to rely on in this game, or someone who will be left until the end because noone will bother to shoot him?

That's a pretty silly assumption, my post said nothing of the sort. Why does "This is my first big game" become "I'm trying to help but will probably fail"? What makes you think that because I'm new to this sort of thing, I'm just gonna be a hindrance? Sure, I don't have the same experience as some of the veterans here, but I can still be just as useful.
I'm not using being new as an excuse to "lurk", I've actually posted a decent ammount already.
You really seem to be over-analyzing a simple hello post, I don't know what else to say.

And yeah, that's actually the case, generally it doesn't matter whose posts you read. I am pretty sure no one in this game has gone through everyone's filters and formed an opinion. Most people are likely focusing on somewhere between 2-5 people and mostly ignoring the rest of the game. So as an experiment I allowed random townies to pick which people I should focus on, because that gives the additional benefit of me not entering the analysis biased.
