Currently I'd like to lynch someone who has clearly been around and posted some while not saying anything worthwhile. I'm not particularly interested in going after newer players for "bad logic", "bad plans" or perceived "contradictions" as they say almost nothing about their alignment when I can't tell whether I should expect better from them. Moreover I'd expect the scum team to consist of ~4 veterans and ~2 newer players, again making it more worthwhile to lynch a veteran. The obvious downside is that veterans tend to post more and as the pool of veterans, it gets easier to spot the ones who shouldn't still be alive later on. Regardless, the following people fit the above criteria:

Jackal, GGQ, possibly iGrok

In addition, Vain's posts thus far have been so devoid of content that he looks like a decent alternative, despite not exactly being a veteran. Drazerk apologizing for going away for a few hours looks somewhat off too, given that his activity hasn't exactly been very high anyway.

Unfortunately a bunch of veterans are getting away with posting nothing at all (Jeejee/Sandroba/Palmar), but at least the latter two have an excuse due to not being around and I'm willing to ignore jeejee on day 1 due to his recent game history.

Lynching WBG is a waste of time unless we've a reason to believe he has KP or that he could be a scum fake claiming. The former is unlikely given the OP specifically implies that there are roles with the ability to steal items and having both abilities might be redundant if we believe his win con is simply to obtain the ring. Further, it's rather unlikely a SK would open claim day 1 as we would obviously get suspicious if night KP/flavor indicates that there is a SK. As for the possibility of him being scum, the claim again makes no sense as Gollum is a very likely character to be present in the game and having gollum as a scum safe claim seems unfair. I suppose it's possible for gollum to be scum aligned rather than a neutral party, but again it makes no sense to claim as it still makes him a likely vig target.

Basically because I'm more familiar with his play and GGQ has had a tendency to be inactivate as town in the few games I've played with him, I recall. However, they are all good candidates, and I had to pick one.

Clear lack of reading comprehension/hasn't read the thread.

Granted, from what I saw in XLIV his town play is absolutely horrible so I'm not inclined to think he's scum. However, the type of logic he's using is precisely pro-mafia logic. I wouldn't put it past him to be scum, but for now we just need to push more posts out of our friend here Pyo.

Specifically, the bolded part is his reason for voting me. In other words, he doesn't think I'm scum. He's voting me because he wants to get information.

That's a terrible reason to want to lynch someone. You lynch someone primarily because you think they're scum. You get information NO MATTER WHO YOU LYNCH.

way to not read my post and selectively bolded not my reason for voting for you – getting information is only icing on the cake... I'm voting for you because your indirect 3rd party claim is bizarre and distracting at best. Also the fact that you haven't been consistent with your "gimme the ring" nonsense leads me to believe that you're full of shit about actually having a posting restriction.

I am busy and just quickly glanced over 1-2 pages but to clear something up -

I can not comment on and posting restrictions I may or may not have just know curu can put them in the game and he probably will have used them.

Saying that WBG is lying about being golum and using it as an excuse to play badly and obtain the ring for scum he doesn't have a posting restriction.

Gone the entire day and just found out I forgot to place my vote on Navillus. Oh well. I no longer feel like he's scum based on his subsequent responses, just a townie with some bad decisions.

WBG, DrH, and Drazerk are terrible lynches right now. WBG is definitely the easy lynch right now and most likely NOT SCUM. DrH is arguably one of the most active and most town player we have right now. Frankly, the justifications for Drazerk are weak, really really weak.

However without much better alternative, I'm liking Syllogism's plan for now. No more lurking from those that could be such an asset to the town. I will go ahead and double that pressure.

When you say NOT SCUM, you mean NOT MAFIA.

SCUM and MAFIA are like Rectangles and Squares.

WBG is definitely SCUM, but he isn't definitely MAFIA.

In fact, I'm doubtful that he is mafia. He's probably Gollum

People are saying that they don't expect to hit scum today. This is true. From a purely mathematical basis, chances are against the town. Now add in null tells, bad reads, and mistells, and our chances aren't really better. But for the most part, people aren't voting randomly. They are offering analysis and reasoning (for the most part) behind their votes. If this post was an attempt by you to shell some people off of voting for you, I'll say you failed hard. It's had the opposite effect on me.

Please share some REASONS behind your suspicions of drh, navi, and jackal. Give us a REASON to believe you other than saying "I like them for lynches".

Also, @WBG, you posted exactly what I wanted to say about Archon. It was a post that made me jackiechanwtf.jpg IRL. Archon and Py both only start posting when they are called out for inactivity? AND the posts are not entirely useful (much less useful from archon). Come on guys. Don't make us beg for your activity. Lurkers always seem scummy. If you want to play with the town, you actually have to play.

I'm just gonna watch this thing grow.

Syllogism is right about my activity in this game. Up to this point though I have had little to nothing to say. Most of you insist upon going back and creating scenarios for the mechanics of the game. I have had no desire to comment on your speculations. He's wrong about my alignment though. But that's ok. It's getting late in the day and votes are scattered all over. Will be interesting to see who all wants to jump all over me. Won't it Heist?
