Argue with there reasoning. Its wrong reasoning.
Medics choose 4-5 people you think are safe and save one of them. If one of them happens to be Prot / Foolishness great. I think they are two good choices. However telling medics to only save those two is wrong. You want medics to have more WIFOM then two. I don't like this whole naming 2 people and force protecting them. Its almost like claiming we have two confirmed town. Now don't get me wrong, there reads are what have netted us two mafia and I think its great that you save them, but I think we(town) have a better chance of blocking a mafia shot if we don't say for sure who we are saving.
Your logic is good BC, about our chances of a save decreasing. So, thats another reason I'm saying don't just blindly put your save on these two. If BC has been masoned with Prot this whole time, then they both should know not to say this. Even more reason not to put the save for sure on only Prot.

As a general rule, normal townies should not attempt to direct blue roles or try to find out who is blue and who is not. Town power roles work better if the mafia are uncertain of what the blue roles will do. It is not uncommon for the mafia to have anti-blue roles such as roleblockers, medics, framers, etc. Therefore, if the mafia has a general idea that the medic will protect X, or the DT will check Y, they are free to mess with those actions if they feel it to be necessary. Do not make medic lists

Medics. Go with your own gut. Who do you think will likely be targeted by the mafia? & Who could be wise to keep alive? In my opinion every medic should basicly make up a small list with people who fulfills one or both of these criteria. And pick OR random a name from there.
Furthermore the town should agree on two people and have Bill Murray wifom incarnate between them. Obviously that means this medics, if these names are on your list you exlcude them from your list this night.
The point is to potentially block kills and frighten the mafia to target the weak townies because the strong townies could have protection.

Well if they hit 1 of the incarnated 2 and no kp is missing that wouldn't look very good for Murray would it?

The point here is that Prot & Fool are such obvious targets that you want the mafia to fear even double-stacking them. Medics should not consider this an absolute order, however.
One option is to do something like this: Pick your own target that you think is likely to be hit tonight, and RNG them together with Prot & Fool.

Technically speaking, this is incorrect. Calling something a Chainsaw defense is simply an observation...a chainsaw defense is attacking someone for them attacking someone else. Like, "Hey, you're scum for attacking Toad!"...kind of thing.

The funny thing actually is, that BCs "list" isn't that bad. Now that a couple of people showed up telling him it's bad to do such things we've got massive wifom. Clearly there will be medics reading this and maybe they'll end up thinking "hey if it's bad because mafia will NOT shoot X+Y I'll just not protect X+Y myself". Could be anything right now.

BCs proposal is scummy as hell. Doesn't matter who he directed medics towards. Could be Jesus himself. That doesn't matter. Creating a situation where scum can shoot into town with impunity because medics listened to him is what matters.
