Now I want to direct everyone to two very important posts in today's discussion. 1. Syllo's analysis of youngminii http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=237124¤tpage=47#927 2. My accusation and sinani206's analysis on his twin http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=10085514 If people are still doubting youngminii is a great lynch candidate, then I'd like to point out that sandroba and chaos13 both suspected him. In addition Cthsazsa who is very likely pro-town has pointed a finger his way. Sandroba happens to be one of our better analysts, and chaos13 is a good solid player. So it's not just syllo who is pushing that lynch. Sinani201 is being accused by his twin, myself, sandroba pointed out the analysis was excellent at the time. There are other links. GM and Kenpachi (along with myself) both commented on how that analysis on 201 was only done when being pressured. But with chaos13's breadcrumbs, I don't think 206 (or supersoft, now) is scum. So let's hear it town, should we lynch YM or sinani201? | ||

gtrsrs - Don't assume that scum would have posted in the thread at the same time somebody was hit. 1 - They would have no compelling reason to do so. 2 - It assumes a game host was online at the same time they sent in their hit. They could have sent that in hours ago. We have no way of knowing that. I'm fairly certain at this point VE is scum and shall vote accordingly. | ||

He's not getting lynched today, he's going to help us determine who's red and who's green. I'm sure that everyone realizes he could be lying about his results, and that's obviously going to be taken into account. I actually believe that he is a DT. The only reason VE didn't completely out Varp was because his check returned blue. Why the hell is this still a controversial issue? Right now we need to be discussing possible lynches for today. | ||

YM I'm not sold on yet. | ||

If I do come up with some sort of makeshift analysis on YM it's going to be a while. Gotta hit the gym, ya know? My main reasons for leaning towards YM as scum is as follows: To start it off, the DT was pressing hard on Youngminii's ass. Also, Youngminii hasn't contributed anything this game, though he's stated a few times in his posts that any townie is eager to to hunt for scum. Which is true, but I have yet to actually see this from YM. If he has been scumhunting, I haven't noticed him putting any real effort into it. In fact, most of YM's posts are made up of arguing with other players and criticizing Town. I also recall (I have bad memory, so bear with me if I'm wrong) that YM was criticizing the lists that someone came up with and pretty much called them useless, even though a few pages later he created two lists of his own stating "I AM OKAY WITH HANGING THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE". Off course, he gave absolutely no reason at all for putting people on that list. I questioned him about this, and a few posts later he quickly popped in, said "Not gonna be on for a while" and hastily disappeared. -______- Overall I think that YM's play has been scummy. My vote will be on him. I gotsta hit the gym now. If I have time (lol I hate make promises) I will make a more *elaborate* analysis with quotes. | ||

I still don't see the 201 reasoning. Yes, people have accused him, but I feel he got pressure put on him more because he's a spammy player that doesn't really do anything than that he had done anything particularly scummy (which I don't think he has). YM seems to have an aggressive style that might be easy to make look scummy in an analysis, so for me the jury's out on him for the time being. I'm going to stick to hiro, because he's someone I looked into a lot. I think he's a good lynch. ##vote hiro | ||

The reasoning was based on meta, admittedly. Remember what I said about martyrs? I followed SNMMIV because SNMMII was my first game here and I bore witness to his little ploy in that game. I didn't like it then, in spite of him being town all along. I thought he might try the same nonsense in this game so I wanted to find out his alignment RIGHT off the bat. Not much of a reason, but there isn't much of a reason to do anything that early in the game...from what I gather, blues typically have to wait until after d1 to make any checks, which is AMPLE time to have sufficient reason to check someone. Also, regarding my Kenpachi vote, I've played a couple of games with this guy and I've read some too...he's active when town, to the point of annoyance sometimes. I guess I just missed the guy. It was really just a pressure vote, but I felt it was justified because of his inactivity / presence on the lurker list. If he was still on the lurker list tomorrow, he was my #1 priority to check. I'm reading over 206 and YM's posts now...I was leaning pretty town on YM before, so I'm starting with him. | ||

VE - I have never seen a game with 3 dts and honestly I think he is probably lying. The only thing that keeps me from going 100% for his lynch is the fact that in the previous game there were 2 gfs, 2 rbers and 3 millers which I had never seen either. When I saw that setup I thought it was mafia favored and mafia won so easily I guess it is possible that they adjusted it to have 3 dts this game. Still though on average if this is anything resembling a normal setup it is incredibly unlikely for there to be 3 dts. I guess right now I am ok with letting him slide if there are other good lynch candidates but he should be lynched sooner rather than later. Also I think he would be a very good candidate for our vigs to shoot (assuming we have more than just the cvig). 206 - There does seem to be a very decent chance that chaos checked him so I am fine with putting him on the back burner for now. 201 - 206's analysis of 201 was good and he has been actively lurking. He usually responds quickly when people post about him yet he provides no analysis or thoughts of his own. I would be fine with his lynch. Hiro - I feel like hiro is very similar to 201. Posts almost no original content, and sheeps onto whoever he feels is playing the most pro town (started with gm and just recently did it with palmar). Would be ok with his lynch. But part of me feels there is a chance he could just be very sheepish town. YM - If chaos got a red check back it was almost certainly from checking YM. Along with that a lot of what YM has done makes me feel off about him. First he started out throwing a lot of random accusations out and causing conflict but once the conflict had started where sandroba and GM were fighting he faded into the background and didn't really contribute or take super strong stands, including making posts like this.
