Well I don't know what town has but so long as Bus Driver will listen to us it should be ok.
Mafia can't use mind control/confusion/whatever on both the BD and Coag (who has the gun).
So coag can shoot whoever he wants, us blues will do our thing, and we'll tell tnked who to move (even publicly). Mafia may kill one of you guys, but definitely not both.
Also, I suspect mafia will see the morning with a few less members. More so if Coag guesses right.
