Even if it's diplomacy we still have to scum hunt. So if no one wants to scum hunt then I guess I should just start asking for a mass claim then.

11 players, 7 pro-town roles, 3 Scum roles.

That means at worst there are 2 Vanilla Town. Either way I don't care.

Start claiming - now. Also don't worry about the Scum Theif. That one is easy to find. CLAIM. NOW.

The majority of power roles cannot use their powers until next winter; Mafia can't hit anyone yet. Besides mass role claiming like you proposed (which I don't think is the best way to go), there really isn't much to do besides expanding and building shit.
I'm pretty sure things will heat up after a few more years. Hits/checks/saves, countries start to invade each other etc.

I've pretty much listed the alternate route in my post above, which is the current route the game is actually taking - wait it out.
I can see why no talking could lead to a bad ending, especially so when there is limited time for Town to win. I'm also not strongly opposing your proposal to mass claiming, but I'd rather be a bit more conservative here. This game is small enough, and has a relatively good player base to decide for itself so I'll go with the consensus. With that being said, I'm pretty sure you're well aware of the downside of claiming this early of the game.

Keep in mind, the above is just your typical Mafia vs Town mindset. I'm sure many others, including me wouldn't mind going for the epic 12 SC solo win.
