EDIT: As to what JAT was saying in the first place, i agree. There should be a normal game open for signups all the time. As in how he describes "normal", certain people don't like IML/DML, just like certain people don't like no-flips which also could be considered "normal". | ||

It just so happened that hapa's game has a bit of a twist (maybe happens 10% of the time) and the newbie game was slightly themed (happens once every few years). For both of those things to happen at the same time is pretty rare and unfortunate for a normal game player who wasn't able to signup for Shin Megami in time and might have to wait an extra week or two, but overall I think things have been pretty consistent. | ||

There have been a lot of games recently who tried to disguise themselves as normal to get into this queue and weren't normal at all - I said that multiple times and usually I also nentioned this when the games in question were hosted. I would not start a discussion like this over one game. | ||

Even if "normal with a twist" games had their own queue, it wouldn't really impact the number of strictly normal games hosted since we usually stick to 1-2 games open for signups as a time anyways. | ||

This was after the game took 2 weeks longer to start than was expected causing problems like my medical procedure followed by 48 hours of travel to Thailand which then gave me a 6 am deadline with unreliable internet. I took 2 CO hosts instead of one made sure they knew all of the rules and any questions in the host QT and that they would be around for most if not all of the deadlines to help cover.
