I cleaned up the "List of Hosts" in the OP. For the most part, if you have not hosted or cohosted a game since the start of 2013 then your name was removed (about 20 people). This was done to keep the list fresh with the most current hosting staff. The vast majority of names that were removed were people who haven't even played in the past two years anyways. If you are a host and are reading this message then it's very likely your name is still there. I still have a complete list of every host ever on file so if you wish to be added again you can just shoot me a PM.

Newbie games exist so that newer players can play in a game with other newer members while also getting help from the more experienced players before jumping into the heat of a regular game. Right, I got that. It's a respect thing for me -- this system exists in part to vet the newer players, and it's certainly preferred (I think) for the new guys to play their games out before jumping into regular games, so with one left I might as well finish out the way it's intended, y'know?

I don't think there's any preference one way or another. "4 newbie games" is a pretty arbitrary number, and is mostly there to prevent vets from playing in newbie games as opposed to being some "bar of respect" that you must reach.

Given that both scum players managed to successfully cast a vote during LYLO and none of the town cast a vote, they clearly outplayed the town. Did they have to do much to do it? No, they did not. But they DID outplay the town.

Probably ideally I wouldn't start before September? So maybe one in between Storm, dunno. Probably safe to put up my game mid-august if not and just wait for signups/start.
