Wouldn't that shift benefit mafia, not town? The setup already seems pretty favorable to mafia as it is.
Assume the mafia team decides to only read the part of their role PMs that state they are mafia, while ignoring their scum buddies identities. Town has a 33% chance of lynching correctly each cycle, which clearly results in a mafia win more than 50% of the time. That's a worst case analysis on mafia's win percentage. In practice, I'd assume knowing the identities of your team mates would improve your chances.
Now if you take that 33% chance and make it a 25% chance, mafia would be in an even stronger position.

Cannons Mini Mafia is no more. It was a great idea and I'd love to see it played, but I can't host it. My schedule is bogged down, I have no enthusiasm at the moment, and I could technically host it but it would be frustrating for both myself and probably for the other players as well.
If anyone wants to pick it up, they can.
I'll host the big normal whenever it comes up, though. Scheduling that one is probably going to be more forgiving.
