It sucks being lynched early and no one likes being the the target. Thus, everyone fights really hard when they know they are facing a lynch vote. The ensuing discussion gets really messy and no one knows if it is a mafia-inspired lynch. Here's my plan: LYNCH HESMYRR. - He's confirmed that he was Sakura Gaibun
- His last province was eliminated overnight so he no longer has a vote.
Wouldn't it be better if we lynch someone who cannot affect the game anymore? Someone whose vote does not count? We can still get information from their flip. Here's the best part... If he is town, we do not hurt ourselves by lynching him as the town-to-mafia vote ratio is not affected. If he is mafia, we can benefit by clearing up confusion and finding connections between him and other Reds. At this moment, this is our best possible proposed plan for a Day 3 action. Let's get out our vote.

hell, let's just all bandwagon so we can lynch somebody.
Voting Loanshark or BrownBear.
I was not bandwagoning Ace. I was voting Ace because I think he's scum. YOU NEED TO POST IN THE THREAD.
There Ace. Cast your vote for loanshark, and we'll be good.

Lynch people who don't post.
If Hessmyrr is innocent, he has been active and can still help even with 0 votes since he'll be posting.
Players that aren't active don't vote and don't post. They may or may not hold land and regardless will make hitting majority that much harder.
There's my plan.
FYI I'm not trying to hide anything. Ace never hides.
Alright, Ace, I support my plan. You would, but only if it's not Hesmyrr. That's fine. To quote a previous post... You "prefer lynch of normal player over individual with 0 votes".
Why don't we ask Hesmyrr what he would do in this situation?
Hesmyrr, these questions are for you! Do you find it suspicious that Ace is supporting you? Do you find it suspicious that Ace "prefer lynch of normal player over individual with 0 votes"?

Ah, thanks Hesmyrr for replying so quickly.
If Hesmyrr supports this mafia-hunting plan, so should you.

~OpZ~, you are either avoiding the issue or being ridiculous.
If you really do think that Ace is scum, then you'll get more leverage out of a lynch on Hesmyrr than you would from a lynch on Loanshark. By splitting your vote, you are trying to ensure that a majority vote cannot pass.
If you purposely fracture today's vote, you're going to be facing a lot of pressure. If you're Red, you're not going to want that. If you're innocent, you're also not going to want that.
Stick to your stance and help us earn a lynch.

So, I was wondering why people haven't been talking about killing that whoring kingdom.. Based upon two people that province claimed to me with night actions, the whoring kingdom could possibly be mafia. Does anyone have any insightful information?

Oh, Kingdom of Whoring is definitely on my to-do list. The only problem is, I'm not sure how to crack that problem... We don't know which player controls those Provinces and I only know one of the Provinces that borders Province 11, 13 and 17, namely annul in Province 20.
At the moment, it will be hard to coordinate an Action dedicated to removing that scum-filled nation from the map.
Any ideas on how to do it?

Well, Redavi can take province 13 by attacking it from above. Unless... Redavi was seduced by the whoring kingdom into an alliance. In that case, we are definitely in trouble..

Geez, forming alliances is a tough task to complete..

So when exactly is the deadline for votes for the lynch? And how many people are up for mod kills?

Well, the Day 3 post came at:
On November 19 2010 07:22 Caller wrote: Day 3
That's almost exactly 24 hours ago. I'm going to guess that we will get 48 hours this Day so we have 24 hours remaining until Hesmyrr flips Red.

I didn't see any day/night cycle times in op. I know the first day ended extremely fast. His comment at the beginning of the voting thread:
"This thread will serve for all votes. Votes will end 24 hours after I post the start. Extensions may be granted at my discretion but will usually be if less than 2/3 players have voted."
based on that it seems like 24 hour days.
|
We had approximately 48 hours and 16 minutes for Day 2.
|
At the beginning of Night 2, Caller introduce a mandatory post during the Day/Night cycle.
This is a list of the players who did not make a single post during Night 2: 7. beneather 8. Kenpachi 12. Hesmyrr 14. drag_ 17. Pandain 19. zerroth 21. Chezinu 23. DLCXVI
This is a list of the players who have yet to make a single post during Day 3: 4. Lexpar 7. beneather 8. Kenpachi 10. Seraph 11. Veldril 13. bumatlarge 14. drag_ 16. ghrur 17. Pandain 19. zerroth
The intersection of the above two lists, and thus candidates to be mod-killed, is as follows: 7. beneather 8. Kenpachi 14. drag_ 17. Pandain 19. zerroth
Note that I even was generous and included inane posts with no substance, for example, smiley faces. If Caller wants to be more strict, then there will be more names on this list.

ok i just woke up
i like how people have said "theres only 2 scum hunting plans lol" when i have a third one: mass claim!
the hessmyr wagon is good, the logic by KJ is good, but we should do this tomorrow. let him use guerilla tonight if he has that power. if he doesn't, THEN we know his one out is not there and we can pop him.
we should, of course, vote ace today.

Actually, you weren't the first to suggest it; seRapH was. Therefore, there were only 2 plans: the mass claim one, and LSB's Save the Island From the Zombies plan... I mean SIFZ.

Also, nice try but I already addressed the guerrilla warfare tactic. Congratulations, you've been elevated up the suspected mafia list.
On November 20 2010 04:13 kingjames01 wrote: I'm going to post something before the mafia figure it out.
Here's what I'm predicting. Since voting is not mandatory, the mafia is going to wait on this vote until they are sure the town has stirred. They don't want Hesmyrr to flip.
Now, somewhere along the line, one of the more clever mafiosos might realize a way out, so I've been trying to think of a way for Hesmyrr or one of his scum buddies to wriggle out of it.
They're going to advocate keeping him around so that he can still "benefit" the town. Maybe they'll claim that he's a Guerrilla Warrior. Any player who does any such action is suspicious.
|
explain what the benefit is of killing him TONIGHT as opposed to tomorrow?
if he is mafia (or normal town, really), he won't be able to use the guerilla power, right? so nothing happens and we pop him tomorrow without a problem.
if he is a guerilla, he can prove himself tonight and we just got out of killing an empowered townie.
there is no reason whatsoever to not postpone his death until tomorrow. notice i am not defending his lynch, only saying it is ILLOGICAL to do it right now.
|
if you really really want to pop a territoryless player, then pop someone who lost their shit night 1, not night 2.

-insert generic useless post with no real opinions- I need to read this thread haha. I've only been skimmming it thus far. the format is so confusing!
