Anyways, so the plan basically goes like this; Tracker tracks our DTs. Watchers watch any of our blues. If one of DTs is bullshitting, we'll be able to figure it out immediately. DTs can check our blues if they want, but given the sanity issue I can understand another checks.
Sound decent? Comments plz. Sounds decent. blues should post who they're watching and chezinu should rc imo. I'm investigating meeple because he was 2nd highest on the votes for being lynched and no one else recommended any other candidates. Please do not send in your night action right away!!! Important that we talk about our 2 DT check targets. If one of our dt's checks come back red... do we act? How likely is he paranoid? How likely is he's really mafia and just pretending to be paranoid? Why exactly are you asking me instead of doing some thinking on your own? lol well apparently you're the man with the plan... also I was asking the town. No need to get all defensive I'm not being defensive. I'm wondering why you're purposely not answering your own question. This post hasn't really answered the question either, so feel free to get to it whenever you feel like doing some work. It was a question to make people think and discuss... if they're both checking the same person (me?) then we can see which detective to trust and kinda follow their lead. I think we should check on someone that we want to lynch to help find out the sanity level of the DTs. So we should decide on someone soon because the night is almost over. ACTIVITY?!
The problem with checking someone that we want to lynch... is that they might turn up red and while that would bag up some red it also wouldn't tell us anything about the sanity of the cops.

Getting a red like that is totally worth not knowing the sanity level of the DT's imo. Besides it only slows the us down by a bit if we don't know the DT sanity level but it's a huge gain getting a mafia. What do you guys think of Chez? If he is going to get mod killed from inactivity we can experiment on him. I hope not though because he seems like a fun mafia guy to play with.
Yeah you're right... it was just something that occurred to me.
I don't agree with lynching Chez on the grounds of inactivity though. If I have some time to go through posts I'll come up with more suspects.

Ah... I'm back... yeah unfortunately I didn't watch AFJ but I did watch Ludwig... and have ascertained the identity of the medic . Of course, I won't betray his confidence, but if he happens to find his sorry ass in trouble I will do what I can to pull him out of it.
|
Heh... well it does give some sticky situations since we can't actually rely that much on the detectives results... but it does give us some starting points. In my eyes, AFJ is slightly greener... not only because one of our "dts" seem to have confirmed what he claimed but also because of his lack of complaining under all this scrutiny. If he were red, I imagine he would be squirming a bit more...
Of course, there's always the possibility that both MooCow and AFJ are mafia and coordinating this... which would explain both the result and the lack of complaining.
|
Aha lmao... that's awesome, way to go citi.zen!
As for tonight's lynch, I agree with Ludwig... it's not worth knowing the sanities and I don't think AFJ is really mafia, unless both our dts are lying and thats something we can check tonight. Not worth losing a green at this point. Now that we got L, it's well worth going through all his posts and checking very closely his connections.
One that struck me right away was this:
On June 13 2010 07:47 redtooth wrote:trust me, you're not that important. on that point, only 1 person in this game is really "important" enough to warrant a kill without having claimed blue. and that person is L. when he's alive tomorrow, we have some serious questions to ask.btw to those jumping on me for inactivity, i'm keeping up with the thread. i'm just not refreshing it every 5 seconds like i used to in previous games since i got burned out quickly by retarded flawed arguments. this game there just seems to be more spam though.
This makes me think redtooth is green... He doesn't have much other activity, but just to keep this in mind.
|
I'm down with RoL more than Vivi57... there's little/no case to be made for/against Vivi since he's so inactive.
|
Having said that and then going through his posts... RoL is pretty damn inactive too...
I'll have to think more about which one is more deserving

I'm having trouble telling if you actually believe that about the dayvig... I was skimming through all L's posts if you must know. I'm obviously not as good as citizen though because all i really found is L arguing with foolishness rather plausibly and redtooth rather weakly. I'm going to read through them again when i'm a little more into it though.
What did you find was lacklustre about the redtooth/L arguement

The PM'd person confirms that he has both the DT's results and goes public with it. The information will become public to everyone just not initially.
Basically imo it's just an extra method to stop one or the other from claiming to find the same info ( only 50% chance though ) but still worth it and pretty easy to do.
We can even PM 2 people ( AFJ and citizen ) you guys confirm it and then come out with the information to the public.
Well... I think its a good idea to PM citi.zen with the info... since then at least you're unaware of the other people's findings... I doubt its really all that useful since it's not really that profitable to copy the other persons results.
|
Yeah thats true... and definitely a way that a mafia can throw us off track for a while anyways... since it might look like we have two legit sane dts when we don't. Although I think if the mafia was claiming to be a dt especially in this game they would just pretend to be naive/paranoid...
Still... like I said, I think we should do this.
|
One thing to consider in this hour is that RoL might be modkilled for inactivity... seeing as he hasn't posted/voted yet.
I wouldn't want to waste a lynch... Are there enough people around to swing the vote to Vivi57 or someone if RoL doesn't turn up?
|
well... he was the only other one who had some support behind his lynch... and he won't be modkilled.
redtooth might fall into that category... but I thought that his comment about keeping a close watch on L might be a green tell.

We've got 5 minutes... I think after a minute or two we should switch

yeah we need to switch our votes asap... they'll likely get modkilled
|
I'm so glad so many are around that we can swap like this...
|
Ah well... hopefully we see red blood tonight... with 4 kills its hard to beleive we won't. Still its shitty to win by inactivity
|
Aha... well we got one... the rest will be less easy to find I would guess... since they're more closely amongst us...
|
I trust Ludwig with almost no doubts... much more than moocow... and I trust them both more than some other people.
There's a slight chance of there being mafia amongst our dts... but like radfield said, its questionable whether this is a good time to start offing claimed blues.
flamewheel's willingness to undergo a check makes me hesitate to push a check on him... but it doesn't put him in the clear obviously. I would try for a redtooth alignment check tonight... or Chez...
|
Ludwig has been active... but he's just active at a different time... totally offset from North American time.
I never said you were suspicious... I just said that I trust Ludwig... mostly because if he was mafia there's no way he would've stepped in before. His trusting of L isn't suspicious, tons of people followed L's plan...
His reactions when Chez was shooting people was genuine I felt... he was just confused, as was I, at what the hell was going on.
I have no reason to distrust you, and for sure you're low on the list of suspects...
