Basically the cops would spend all game fighting each other because having 3 town cops in a game is ridiculous, while scum got a free vigilante and a roleblocker. It was so ridiculously scum-favored, and I have no clue how it got past any balance checks, if it even got through one. Idk too much about what happened with DrH but from what I understood, DrH basically ragequit as scum and got replaced. There was no way we could say DrH was scum and it kind of gave Onegu a free pass (which he used very well). FirmTofu has a better explanation. | ||

I would have handled the DrH situation the same way as they did. While having a player miss a day one vote is certainly unfortunate, if they need to be replaced, it's an unavoidable part of the game. Killing off a player for needing to be replaced is much more punishing than removing a vote from the vote pool, even in a majority lynch situation. I'm not sure if the balance team took a look at the game, but having 3 town cops of various sanities isn't unreasonable. The cops were informed that they may not be sane and the sanity of a cop was revealed on flip, validating their checks. It's difficult for town, but the roles are far from useless. I agree the mafia vig should have been removed. It's not game breaking because town still loses on the third mislynch in a 9v3 setup, but it makes a day four lynch too difficult. | ||

Well it looks like he ran the setup by foolishness, and making a mistake regarding how checking yourself as a cop (something that should never work btw) works isn't the same as bastard modding. My 2c regarding language warnings: When I give people warnings in-game for language or flaming, typically that doesn't translate for me into a warning on the banlist. If a guy is getting mad and flaming, I warn him, and he calms down, then we're good. There's no need for a banlist warning for a guy who got mad but then realized he was wrong and relaxed. If he's like getting all up in other people's business, making the game difficult to play for others and ignoring warnings from the host, then I consider that territory for modkilling him and/or seeking ban list action. I think, barring truly vile language, everyone deserves a free in-game warning to calm down. Mafia can be emotional, we've all been there. I don't know what the specifics are with cora and oats but I'd take that into account in your decision Bluelightz. | ||

Oats and Corazon 100% do not deserve censure. Do what you will with DrH I guess. Most of the grievances in this game simply shouldn't be punishable, I don't think this is what the banlist is for. Some shitty language that stopped as soon as the host warned, and a funky DT check don't seem to be punishable actions to me at all | ||

Language warnings are debatable, if the players stopped after being asked to, I would prefer no warning, but if the hosts insist, I'll honor that. | ||
