 I'm a veteran by the way - last night's third hit. I planned to ask for medic protection for tonight, but right now it doesn't matter all that much, even though it would be nice to survive till the end of game.  So whatever happens tonight, cheers. | ||

Day 5 Night fell over Liquidia , and again Phrujbaz tried to get in contact with his only surviving fellow Mafia member. He dialed for what seemed the thousandth time and for the thousandth time heard the same chirping electronic tones indicating a disconnected line. Rolling his eyes, he shoved his cell phone into his pocket. How were they going to get anywhere in this vengeance-crazed town if they couldn't even get in touch, let alone put together a plan? At this point, he had no choice but to pick out a target himself tonight without any orders or guidance. Despite this setback, though, Phrujbaz was comfortable with his ability to carry off the kill. Not only was he an accomplished fighter, able to kill using only his fists and feet, but he was calm, collected, patient, and calculating. He strode confidently through the shadowy alleyway, eyes darting from side to side in search of a victim. They focused almost immediately on the figure of a man standing at the end of the alleyway. Turning around slowly, the man drew his gun and leveled it at Phrujbaz. Although normally calm Phrujbaz panicked and decided that there was no way he could get to the man before he fired. Thinking fast, he ducked behind a wall just before the gunshot went off. Phrujbaz breathed a sigh of relief, thinking the man had missed, but then felt a powerful impact and a sickening emptiness in his chest. Weaving slightly from side to side, he looked down and saw a bleeding hole in his chest. Before he died, Phrujbaz's last thought was of the surprise that the entry wound was on his back and not the front of his chest. Meanwhile, derfboy was making a run for it, trying to escape Liquidia before justice caught up to him. His route brought him alongside the gates of LiquidHaven Cemetery. Normally, derfboy didn't believe in the old superstition of holding his breath while passing a cemetery, but this time he could hardly help himself. A surprisingly strong stench pervaded the cemetery, and derfboy pinched his nose in disgust. He glanced around, wondering why the odor was so pungent, when he spotted the reason pushing his way through the gates and shambling unsteadily toward him. Even as a grey and putrid zombie, the undead Incognito made a formidable figure as he roared at derfboy. "You! You…had me…spinning in my grave…with what you did. Now…I'm coming…for you." Derfboy turned around, this time attempting to flee not the vengeance of the town, but the divine retribution from the undead host. But derfboy had no chance of escape as Incognito rushed ahead of derfboy and picked him up with what felt like the strength of ten men. Casually, like a man ripping a sheet of paper, he tore derfboy's head off and dropped his body at the gates, before lumbering back toward his grave. Thunder struck, followed by heavy rain. It rained throughout the night, washing away the blood and grime off the streets and buildings. When the sun rose, rain had gone and the sun rose brightly, piercing the sky with a cleanliness that could only bring joy and happiness. The city no longer looked grim, but shone as brightly as if it had transmuted into gold. As some of the mourning townspeople walked to the cemetery, they found the two bodies of the remaining Mafia and exulted. Rushing back to the town, these mourners trumpeted the good news, where mayor meeple declared the defeat of the mafia, to be followed by a large banquet. *** Phrujbaz has been killed. derfboy has been mod killed. | ||

As she was embalming one of the bodies, she was shocked to hear a noise behind her. Usually, nobody ever walked into the morgue except for her. Puzzled, she walked to the other room and noticed a trail of blood leading to the entrance of the morgue. Now in a panic, she rushed back into the other room, to find that more bodies were disappearing. dreamflower ran out of the morgue, only to notice a mob of people walking away from the morgue and back toward the town square. Among them, she saw Qatol, but soon fainted with a puzzled look on her face, as she thought that Qatol had died as a townie on Day 1. *** The dead have risen. You are now free to talk. | ||
