Barely anything besides the fact that there's a jury who give points based on difficulty of the exercise right? I can't imagine weird hand movements adding points, which is why I was asking why they do it. | ||

Ah the cynicism. Women's weightlifting has historically (and probably even now) not been regarded as the highest caliber of sporting competition. There's no reason to think women can't continue to push the limits of what has previously been thought possible. | ||
