they said on BBC it was the worst performance by Germany in the pool for 80 years! i really dont know what they did with our swimmers, but they are all like 2 seconds slower than they used to be. We had world record holders, european and world champions starting and most of them didnt even make the final. there certainly was some kind of big fail in the preperation for the olympics, but even with my contatcs in the DSV i have no clue what they did. yes, today is over, last swimming will be tomorrow evening with highlights like 4x100m national medley, 1500m freestyle. all heats are done as well, only finals tomorrow. | ||

All three Americans in the 1500m advance. Manzano ran okay in fast heat, Wheating ran dumb and looked a little off but got lucky and snuck through on time qualifying, and Centrowitz raced like a complete boss, nice tactics and cruised in to the top 6. | ||
