I'm pretty sure it's not just ad-lib. Almost everything the desk says between games, and basically all of introductions, is scripted, rehearsed and read off a teleprompter.

I'm watching LPL AND GPL(taiwan) streams rn. and the latter especially is following Riot LCS production very closely. The coaches and whatnot are NOT being interviewed by their respective region's stream.
EDIT: I'm somewhat half-"knew-it" + half-disappointed that they decided to show a feature on Dark Passage instead of AHQ.

I'm never been a big fan of fake hype (like the people who would rage at tastosis for calling matches over) but I can understand the sentiment, and with a stream like this (the rebroadcast during NA primetime more likely) a large portion of the viewers have no idea how good these non NA, non Korean [not even really knowing anything other than Korea = good] so it might actually do some work.

Well there's still the korean stream, + another 20 something (they said there were 26 official streams broadcasting from the location at the start) who could have interviews. Or maybe the chinese teams just declined an interview.
Wouldn't you rather get as many interviews as possible/players are willing to give, rather then declining interviews/forcing people into interviews in the name of balance?

They're going to do what they've always done, pick one team from each game to give a feature, so after 4 games have been played in the group, each team will have had their "hype package" played once. what kind of "riot hates asia" sentiment are you trying to moan about, you're making 0 sense -.-

Game 1 was pretty good SSW could have played better imo, but overall an exciting match, but it was kind of decided in pick/ban.
Game 2 was just disgusting. TSM won pick/bans then slaughtered SK once the game started.
