Now with them playing so well, it means the overall strength of the group has increased from what was predicted

If LMQ was going to take a game off any Korean in the tournament, it would probably be Samsung Blue. Keep in mind, this is still like a 5% chance this happens, but given they have very strong early game and SSB has somewhat weak early game, it's possible they could snowball it so hard that SSB wouldn't be able to bring it back with mid-late game teamfighting. Not saying this will happen, but it's still possible.

It is funny to remember people saying they need to take away open qualifier/Taiwan spots to give Korea so we can see the best teams. Might as well take away all 3 EU spots. how about we wait for the groups to unfold.

It's always been passive but with C9's rise and later the arrival of LMQ the one region EU could consistently bully now plays aggressive and seizes objectives. EU teams seem to just play like they're up against other EU teams who just wait for mid/late game. To make it worse the one aggressive EU, Gambit, completely imploded so now every team in EU is content to be passive. Of course it's only day 1 of C&D so maybe ALL and FNC are just having a rough start.

Now it looks more like "Blue looks beatable, everybody else can probably take games off everybody". I still think Fnatic and OMG have the potential to come back and force a fight for 2nd.

Their support was almost Elementz level. And all of their carries are very hit or miss.

Uh, excuse me. San would like you to know that he's ALL miss, tyvm. On September 25 2014 23:40 TitusVI wrote: No wonder the european hype-plane crashes when svenskeren is the pilot. Unfortunately. [A] may come back but probably not: they need to beat C9 after that soddy showing at least once and win a tiebreaker, assuming a 0-2 vs NJWS and a 2-0 vs Kabum for both (I think C9 has a shot at taking a game off shield, but eh). Major uphill climb. Not sure if Fnatic can overcome NA China at all now.

I don't get how either OMG or Fnatic were hyped up. Fnatic hasn't been good in a long long time and everyone with knowledge of LPL were saying OMG most likely won't make it out of groups.

I feel like LMQ is gonna go all out early against Samsung, and either it's gonna fall flat (like you said probably ~95% of the time) or it's gonna be really successful and they could pull off an upset.
