Honestly singling someone out is waste of time, from top to bottom everyone in CLG has been playing like shit. Except maybe aphro, the teamcalls have been terrible, the individual play has been off and the throws are real

Link has been really underwhelming/non-existent for a long long time. Dexter has also been playing quite bad - he seems to have absolutely no confidence in his play. You can see it in how scared and cautious he plays in almost every single game. Honestly the problem with CLG has always been Double. Every iteration of the team falls into the exact same issue. Think it's about time we stopped ignoring the only consistent link throughout all the iterations.
Imagine you had someone in your team that u can't really trust. Someone that sometimes randomly does really bad decisions. That can really bring you down. What is all the effort you put in worth if the outcome is never really sure?

The only people who believe that are the same ones who think Xpecial was the problem on TSM.

Can we blame Weixiao for WE missing second Worlds in a row as well? Like, be serious.
When 3 players in your team are choking, while other 2 are on a same lane, you know, it's not good. I hope, they stick together.

other than the time when Doublelift would try to play 1v5, ignore the map, and just splitpush/farm, he's always played very well. CLG's bot lane generally always perform reasonably well.
Besides, if you look at CLG's past members, they weren't pretty bad when they were swapped out. I mean, in top you had HSGG who could literally only play Nid and Cho, Nien who just cracked under pressure. In jungle you had HSGG (lol), Chauster (lolol). For mid you had Jiji who was notorious for not wanting to practice.

Yes, totally unjustified, those damn angry fanboys right?
CLG should release its whole roster no excuses.
Possibly keep Aphromoo, and that's it. Everyone else has to go.
Especially "the only one guy who's been in the team in every single failure".

Every single CLG team becomes a protect the doublelift regardless of if that's what's best for the team because that's the only way double can play. You can't rely on him not to be fine without a shitton of support and even if you give him all that support he may still throw it all away randomly. He's also the most senior member with supposedly a high authority in the team. Remember he was the one behind the horrible locodoco support. If anyone should be benched he should have long long ago.

Honestly, i want only one thing now.
TSM getting 0-6'd for Reginald to finally shut up. Not like i'm salty or anything, but when your team would have been 0-3'd by either Curse/CLG, it's hilarious to scream on every point that CLG and MonteCristo blow.

CLG Season 4 never played as protect the Doublelift, even at the worst point. He transformed his playstyle completely, to achieve the Worlds and they failed again.
It's not him, who's the problem.

I dont think we know enough to conclude that. His play is not bad and not outstanding imo, average LCS level.
But he was probably also responsible for how CLG constantly overrated themselves. There always seemed to be a rift between their perception and reality. I meaa it is a team that never reached a LCS final, they were 5, 5, 3 so far. Just an average LCS team, but always talked like competition in NA doesnt even matter, goal was great performance at worlds (not just getting to worlds), bottom LCS teams are laughably bad etc.
